The condo worked well for us. It could use some updates for sure but if you dont plan on spending a lot of time in the condo that doesnt matter.

Other reviewers said the air conditioning cooled the bedroom. I found it too warm and humid. The shower door was off the tracks, so it made it a little hard to get in and out. I admittedly did not call property management. The location to Kona and the view were fantastic!

Location and common areas were great! View was fantastic! Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Beach chairs supplied were nice. The unit itself is very dated. Definitely needs a paint job. Carpet is old. Rust stains on appliances and light fixtures. Cord hanging down the wall from the air conditioner. Grease stains on the blanket.

Not handicap accessible. We were told that when we booked it it was handicapped accessible. We have no water.wifi sucks Place was in need of renovation and cleaning. I will be calling to get some kind of refund.

I booked this Accommodation on the run course. The Accommodation was fantastic and close to town with a short walk approx 15 mins.
I would most definately stay here again.

Unit was neat in all aspects except for bedroom carpet which needs torn out. We had to lay towels over it because if felt gross on our feet.
It’s is beyond needing a carpet cleaning. All other areas were very good, beautiful view, pool area, and nice covered parking garage.

This property is located close to the main strip of Kona, so it was easy to walk to shops and meals.
The property is right next to the ocean so it was nice to wake up, listening to the waves. We saw sea turtles on the rocks, shortly after we arrived, and it was cool to see crew and boogie boarders during the day. There was even a guy at sunset who blew a conch shell, which was pretty cool!
Some parts were rusted but overall I would book this place again. Super happy! :)

This was the perfect size accommodation for the two of us, although it could accommodate more. This was the second time we stayed at Kona Reef because it is our choice for location and value. It had everything we needed In the kitchen. We appreciated the use of two sturdy beach chairs also. The air conditioning worked very well so we were always comfortable. We spent time mornings and evenings relaxing on the oceanfront lanai. The most beautiful view!

Location was great! Close to restaurants, shops and swimming. Some within walking distance or just a very short drive. The condo was heaven!! The view of the beautiful ocean, the sound of the waves...incredible! The condo was perfect and decorated just the way it should be.....Hawaiian style! We loved it and would have loved to have stayed longer. Thank you for this wonderful experience!!

This was a great 1 bedroom property right on the water in a super location, just a short stroll from downtown Kailua. The unit was well stocked with linens and kitchen essentials. There was an issue with the shower door but this was fixed shortly after emailing the property manager. The furniture was a bit tired and the couch was soft. Paint needs refreshing. Starting on our second day we began to notice a lot of flies in the apartment and these became increasingly annoying. The windows and doors were always closed so not sure where they were coming from. This was a health concern as they were all over our food and in the bathroom.

This condo was perfect for our weekend getaway. The host was easy to communicate with and had timely responses. Upon arrival there was adequate parking and easy access to the condo. The condo was clean and the bed was comfortable. With the nice beach next door we especially appreciated the beach chairs and towels! With great coffee and dining nearby, we didn’t even use the kitchen but had we chosen to, It was well equipped. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
