Having our own little home away from home was so very convenient during our stay. The location of Kaapa was perfect to be able to explore the island. The hale had many areas to walk to as others had mentioned. Coconut Grove. The walking trail near the beach. Hukilau. Johnny's. Long's. Safeway .Ross and Wailua shaved ice as well as other places to dine.
Now back to K10. It was perfect handing amenities and space to be at home. It's obviously an older unit that has some slight wear, but it was clean and decent. The furnishings were good. The pool and jacuzzi was fine. We were able to use the BBQ in the shared grill. Our tomahawk and korean ribs turned out great! The kitchen amenities and linens were good,and we made ourselves at home.The bed WAS super comfortable. Having the beach chairs, the beach umbrella, and little cooler to use during our stay was a blessing to have. Overall we would definitely come back for the value and location. We enjoyed our time in the condo. Only one problem, the couch! It is old and very uncomfortable. I contacted our host and they said they would contact the owner. A new couch would do wonders for the place. It looks ok in the pictures but pictures can be deceiving.

We were mostly satisfied with the unit and enjoyed our stay. It had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and amenities as expected. The small cooler and Kauai guidebook we used a lot and were really great to have. We also appreciated the beach towels and portable beach chairs. The central location was nice for exploring all of the island.The only real downfall was the hedges were overgrown so the "mountain view" only consisted of the very tip of a mountain - and that was only if you were actually standing on the lanai. From the table in the living room the view was 3/4 hedge and 1/4 sky. The hedge is a nice barrier to the main road behind it, but just needed a good trimming. Additionally, the shower needed a thorough cleaning as mildew was on the tile and shower curtain. On the positive side, management touched base with us the day after we checked in to see how everything was going and to make sure everything was satisfactory. They responded quickly offering to have someone come and clean the shower for us at our earliest convenience.

The location is great walking distance from a outdoor mall. Pool access is wonderful. Place was good enjoyed 3 wonderful weeks.

Overall a good stay. The location suited our busy criss-crossing island itinerary.
The check-in directions were not up-to date, as the 'front-desk' closes much earlier than stated. However, it wasn't difficult to track down security, who came within 20-30 mins to give us instructions and keys.
On the surface, the unit was clean. Just don't look too close in the corners and drawers (especially in the bathroom).
We had to get assistance to make the TVs work correctly. Assistance came within 24 hrs. We aren't on vacation to watch TV, but keeping up with local and national news is important to us.
Like I said - overall a good stay.

Clean rooms with Coconut marketplace nearby within walking distance. Kitchen had all accessories needed for cooking breakfast. Two things to be aware of, close proximity to road 56 with a fire station 3 blocks north so if an emergency fire trucks heading south you will hear those. Second the door has a long window next to it, there is no blinds or curtain on it so the hall lights will always shine into living room area and anyone sleeping on sofa bed will have that light on them all night.

Spacious apartment conveniently located within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Each building has a laundry room with clean washers and dryers, but remember it locks up at 10pm. Both Safeway and CVS (Longs) are close by, which is handy. Overall, we were happy with our stay.

we had a wonderful time staying in this cute little condo.. My husband and I would be happy to stay again. great location, walking distance to lots of shopping and good food.. November is a great time, we had no people on either side of us.. lots of privacy.. great price. .Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your condo.. scott and Cindy

This place was great! It’s a bit older and the stove was fun to figure out, but it was clean and the bed was super comfortable. It’s pretty central to anything you’d need (Safeway, Costco, Target, etc…). The pool is super private and even though we passed people in the halls a few times, every time we went for a dip, we had the whole pool to ourselves. The grill worked fine and it was nice to have that option on vacation since we grill a lot at home. The only thing I didn’t love was the laundry set up. It requires an app and you have to load your app with a minimum of $10. We did two loads and still had money leftover on the app that we’ll never use. Not a reflection of the unit, but be aware.
