Your place was a good location.
The kitchen was lovely and well stocked for dishes/utensils.
the living area was comfortable.
The ACs worked well, but pretty oldschool.
The bed was comfortable enough.
the bathrooms were just old and run down.
The washer and dryer worked well.
The tenants upstairs however, were RIDICULOUSLY noisy and constantly moving around even through the night.
The beach chairs worked but pretty old.
THe beach umbrella was half missing.
I did not receive checkin information, so confusing.
The management group responding quickly though.
The manager Kiki never responded to my text about getting a better umbrella.

The owner should stay there for a week and they will find all the broken things and or ill repaired things of the property. Screen latch on door, missing. hard to move the slider, ice cube part of freezer broken, unable to close windows above shower so always cold. Dryer vents back into self instead of out, so it to clog up the washer. We found that cause we came back and that area was flooded which we had to clean up. That was a days repair which meant the workers took my things out of the closet and ripped up the carpet there. No cable with the tv so if you don’t subscribe to net flix ect. You are only going to get U tube! The owner needs to upgrade her property.

This property needs some updating. The window air conditioners were very noisy, especially at night. There was some need to fix molding in the house and just make it feel cleaner. The cleaning was done but the facility is older. Using the patio door to get outside was difficult.

Stay was great. Light switches were confusing and there was no way to turn off fan in living area. Unit was clean and conveniently located.

We loved our stay, simple and comfy spot. We had friends staying at the Royal Sonesta, but with a 3 year old and an infant, we didn’t want to stay in the hotel but rather wanted our own space and access to a kitchen. The house is perfect for families of two adults/couples. We had my mom in one room, my husband and I in another with the baby, and the pull out was a great size for our 3yo (would be tough for an adult to sleep there). The only downside was the noise of the A/C units kicking on and off all night and having to restart them after 6 hours - plan ahead with earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Host was incredibly sweet and communicative. Simple, no bells and whistles- fit our needs perfectly. A little more outdated than the pictures seem to depict, but still well maintained though different than expected.

Firstly, I loved the location of the property in Lihue. We stayed for 11 days so we wanted a location that was accessible to the north and south ends of the island. The kitchen and living room had recently been remodeled so that was very a nice plus. Also, they had provided some extras such as suntan lotion, razors, tooth paste and beach towels. We had to contact the owner in the middle of our stay and they responded immediately to our needs. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was a nice feature and the unit had a lovely patio for enjoying our morning coffee. The unit was also convenient to restaurants and there was a beach across the street. A great stay.

I’m definitely giving stars for location. Short walk to lots of shopping and food. Beautiful beach across the street and you can hear the waves. Now for the bads. Place was not very clean at all. Felt like we needed to keep shoes on as floors were greasy. Master bath was “ok” but second bath shower was moldy and smelled. A simple bleaching would go a long way. We were there for a wedding and iron started sparking and was unusable. The owner did offer to bring another one which was nice but we didn’t have time to wait. I feel that if you are going to charge a cleaning fee, you should arrive to a clean start. Just my opinion. I would definitely stay at condos again just maybe look at another unit

I have stayed at several different condos at the Banyan Harbor condominium, this was the first time I stayed with this owner. I must say, I was impressed with the small things this owner did to make our stay awesome. The basket of extras was a very nice touch (something no other owner has done before). The two full bath was nice for a pair of couples as we did not have to share a bathroom. If you have stayed in a Banyan Harbor Condo before, like I have, most units have ALOT of stairs you have to climb in order to access. This condo was a ground level, so it was easy access. The only issues we had during the stay are not any fault of the owner. We had a heard of elephants living above us, which was more of nuisance than anything else. We would love to stay here again! If the owner will have use, we would love to be regular visitors to this unit!
