THINGS TO KNOW
This home does not have any ground-floor bedrooms.
Irrigation work is underway and scheduled to complete by the end of April 2023. Buildings 12, 13, 14, 15, and 19 will be close to the construction. Expect associated noise and dust. Additional irrigation work will start in October or Nov of 2023, with no projected end date. Buildings 16, 17, 18, 20, 22, and 23 will be impacted.
The Makai pool will be closed for construction starting the second week of April 2023 and is expected to last until July.
This rental is managed by Vacasa Vacation Rentals of Hawaii, LLC.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This spacious, well-appointed condo in a golf course adjacent gated complex made a good base for my teen-aged kids and me to explore the north and south Kohala areas by car. Too far to walk to the closest beach. The pools were closed for maintenance - which was disappointing. We only stayed 3 nights; for a longer stay, I might’ve chosen some place walkable to the beach.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous villa on the big island. It was spacious, comfortable, and functional. We appreciated the comfortable beds and furniture as well as the cleanliness of the home. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook during our stay, and there were plenty of towels and linens for the six of us. The location was incredible, and the neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. Accessories for the beach were provided including chairs and umbrellas, which we also appreciated. Overall, our stay was pleasant and enjoyable. We would absolutely stay here again in the future!

The place was great! Nice location, clean and loved the attention to detail, down to the nightlights. It makes a big difference.
Everything we needed was there, plenty of towels, dish towels, cooking utensils, instructions for everything.
I would definitely recommend and stay again if/when I'm back on Big Island.

PERFECT FOR A FAMILY! We visited the island for the first time and absolutely LOVED the airbnb. It was located next door to the Hilton! We walked there every morning and was able to use the amenities with a day pool pass. The airbnb was extremely clean and you can tell they are starting to renovate it to be modern.
