Resort property is beautiful. Only complaint I have about the resort is that the pools are freezing. Everything else was great. The room was nice and I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the fridge. It is bigger than a standard hotel size fridge. The bed mattresses feel old but not the end of world. The view from the balcony is awesome so that was nice. I have one request that would have made the room even better, two beach chairs in the closet. This room is a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

1) This resort is ULTRA well kept, clean and tidy, which is made even better with the tropical scenery, palm trees, ocean views, mountain views, waterfalls within the pools, so those sounds going all the time. This in and of itself all combine to make this place a hard to beat resort for a lovely and relaxing and "make you smile" tropical resort simply when you walk the grounds of the resort.
2) The rooms are moderately small, but do the job just fine. Two queen beds is fine. We prefer a King so my wife and I have a bit more space, but thats splitting hairs and is a first world problem. If I cant sleep, I simply slide to the other bed so I dont wake wifey when I roll around trying to get back to sleep. Bathroom is good, not great. TV worked fine, had basic cable. Our views off the Lanai were the "partial ocean view" and were just so damn pretty. Ease and relaxation/happiness inducing views. Air conditioning worked REALLY GOOD. Room was good except for:
3) The headboards banged against the wall (dont laugh for dirty reasons either. LOL)....just when one rolled over or moved at all. We had to jam clothes in between the headboards and the wall to stop this weirdly ignored and unmitigated problem that the owners of the room should already know about and should have fixed by now. Super annoying to even have to deal with this first night there. And the idiotic "certain number of towels" you get is stupid too. We took care of that on our own though.

Each wash load is $4, as is each dryer cycle. Dryer cools down so you don’t get the benefit of 60 minutes of drying. Daily parking is $35 plus taxes. For a two week stay, fresh towels and weekly cleaning should have been included and trash bags replenished. Room was dusty and sheets smelled of mildew. Front desk receptionist wasn’t as welcoming as she was to hotel patrons. Someone left trash outside our room door and it took me several minutes to convince the passing housekeeper I was not obligated to dispose of it although I was staying in a privately owned room. The beds squeaked badly. Repair attempt failed. 1 serving of coffee was paltry for two weeks’ rent. Guests should not be instructed to walk a football field distance to dispose trash. The hotel was quaint, but needed upgrade. Hallway lights were filthy with dust and walls poorly painted. Hopefully, Outrigger will upgrade it.

Online the property looked nice and we booked it for 6 days.
Upon arrival, the overall resort seems nice, but once we went into the wing that the room was in, we saw that it was poorly maintained and decrepit.
There were broken windows in the doors to the wing. There was an electrical panel with exposed conduits. Everywhere you looked you could see signs of neglect and dirtiness. Scuffed walls, damaged areas and rust was present.
When we entered the room, the door would not lock when shut. The room smelled damp and old.
The room itself had a layer of dust everywhere that wasn’t a commonly touched area, but you could see it and we avoided touching these items. There was a full size refrigerator in the room that looked very old. There was a small hotel sized refrigerator in a cabinet but it was unplugged. There was a broken flower vase in the table.
Everywhere you looked, there were signs of neglect.
The bedding smelled of cologne or deodorant and there were stains in the sheets. We had to find the least smelliest pillows the night that we stayed so we could sleep.
The stay details said there would be four, blue beach towels and we were responsible for them due in big our stay.
There were only three, mismatched, multi color towels. They were worn out and permanently stained.
The overall impression was that of dirtiness and neglect.
After one night, we checked out; only response from management was sorry and no offer of refund or anything.

Nice resort but was under construction majority of my stay. There was construction 4 out of the 7 days we stayed here, so you heard loud noises from 10am - 2pm and the power was turned off one of the days from 9am - 2pm. We were never informed there would be construction, if so we would've made other accommodations. As you can imagine, the construction was an inconvenience and disruption. Not only was there construction majority of our stay, we received a letter letting us know the power would be out one of the days. The resort was nice, but not knowing there would be construction made it an unenjoyable experience.
