Big Island is such a wonderful place to spend time with your friends and family, children and grandchildren. Vacations create such wonderful memories; our hope is this trip will be one of your fondest family memories and that you'll return year after year.
This two bedroom home is fully furnished with first Primary with a new King size bed and large private ensuite.
The second bedroom is located on the main level and features two TwinXL beds (new) that can be combined to make a King with a topper. There is a downstairs bathroom next to the second bedroom.
We also include a pack and play for families with young children and can provide additional ones if families have more than one infant.
The airy open concept main floor includes kitchen, dining area, living room, and large lanai with outdoor kitchen. The indoor dining room table and lanai outdoor table, seat a total of six plus there is a large counter. Relax and enjoy watching your sports team or a movie with the kids after a fun day at the beach on the large 65" 4K TV. Enjoy movies and music selections on the sound-bar, watch the game, or relax with a movie.
The main floor covered lanai, equipped with BBQ, chaise loungers, and dining area is a perfect place to enjoy throughout the day.

My wife and I loved our stay here with our 1-year-old son! The home was clean, spacious, modern, and well-appointed. The main room was bright with large windows showing the tropical landscaping. The pool is very close and was not crowded; we were often the only ones there, and we never had trouble getting pool chairs. The provided pack n play travel crib and high chair worked very well for us, and we also rented a play yard that we set up on the main room. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and responsive. The location is great, within a walk or short drive to great resorts and cute shopping centers. We plan to stay here again. Highly recommended!!!

Great except better to have twin beds in downstairs room or foldaway sofa in living room. The bed was too small for two boys. Not all bikes were rideable even after two visits from management. Tires need replaced, brakes need maintenance. Check out time is too early

We really enjoyed our stay at Makai Living at Fairways at Mauna Lani. The home is tastefully decorated and larger than we expected. The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything we needed. The community is gated with a beautiful community pool complex just steps from the lanai door. It was a short drive to the Beach Club with ample parking, it was never an issue. We loved snorkeling the reef at the beach club which was full of colourful coral and fish. We recommend dinner reservations at either the Fairmont or Auberge which are a short drive away and a great place to watch sunset over dinner and drinks. The garage was well equipped with beach chairs, snorkel equipment, umrellas, etc which we used almost every day. We did have an issue when we arrived the air conditioning was not working. They had reset it but neglected to turn it back on and because the maintenance team finishes at 5pm we weren’t sure what to do with a hot house, but turned it on and it worked. We had serveral more issues with a/c over the course of our stay. It’s challenging because it’s working when you leave to the beach and then not working when you return home and by that time the maintenance team are gone again. The a/c unit is older and likely needs replaced. We hoped that since they recognized there was an issue that they may check up on the house more frequently but wasn’t the case. Overall it worked about 60% of the stay. We also wanted to point out that there are biting flies that arrive on the lanai just before dinner so we didn’t BBQ in the end, and had to be careful opening the lanai screen. We are sure they will resolve the A/C issue and we would happily stay here again in future. It’s a great place. Thank you Jeff and Suzanne for having us!

The house is better than what you see in the pixtures...super well equipped. All works...beach club that you have access is perfect. Mauna Lani is the place to stay. Mahalo!!!

We found this to be the perfect condo for two couples. It was extremely well stocked with everything you could possibly need for cooking, grilling, playing at the beach or just relaxing on the beautiful and private Lani. The location is brilliant, close to shops, the beach club, golf course and hotels. The interior decorating is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures and the beds are extremely comfortable. We found this to be the perfect condo for two couples. It was extremely well stocked with everything you could possibly need for cooking, grilling, playing at the beach or just relaxing on the beautiful and private Lani. The location is brilliant, close to shops, the beach club, golf course and hotels. The interior decorating is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures and the beds are extremely comfortable.
