We love how spacious the home was. We all had our own retreats with privacy. Not enough time!! Didnt want it to end!

The house was so comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for a family of five, even snorkel gear and a cooler for day trips to the beach! (30 minute drive.) FYI The house is located in a real neighborhood, not a touristy condo association. Barking dogs, ferrel pigs and fireworks are a part of everyday life.

Cute, clean house, located in a real neighborhood, not a place that’s geared towards tourists. We found it convenient for visiting the volcanoes and various other attractions on that side of the island. There are markets and a few eating options nearby. There is an air conditioner in the living room and one of the bedrooms, and many fans throughout the house, which made it comfortable. There was a mildew smell, possibly due to how rainy the area can get. But overall a positive experience.

Our son and his family stayed for the holidays. House is beautiful, nice neighborhood. Plenty of yard space for the kids. Wonderful fireworks over the new year 😊. Good location near lower Puna and not to far from town.

This is a good property with nice amenities but beware - there are at least 10 dogs in the neighbourhood and they will bark in the early hours of the morning and throughout the day. It was quite disruptive.

We all enjoyed this spot. Very clean, and an open kitchen made it easy for us to cook and not get in each other’s way. It’s about 16 minutes from Kehena and 35 minutes from Hilo. Would stay again.

My family had an amazing time on our trip. We were out exploring most of the day and evening and mainly used the home for sleeping. The house is very clean with all of the amenities you would need. It is very spacious and my kids loved having their own rooms. The coqui frogs are loud but we loved them and my kids loved looking for them. We hope to come back again one day!
