I would like to welcome you into my apartment. Normally I would be living in one of the bedrooms of this 2-bedroom apartment. But I will be traveling during the month of June 2023, so this apartment (except for my bed room) will be entirely yours in 2023 June :). You will have full access to one bedroom, one bathroom (with washer/dryer inside), living/dining room, fully equipped kitchen, and a small lanai/patio. The entire apartment can sleep 4 guests.
My car (a well-maintained and low mileage 2013 corolla) is available for you to rent for this month. The apartment also comes with one on-site parking stall right outside of the building lobby entrance - this is a much rare find in most of Honolulu.
Location
This neighborhood is centrally located between Ala Moana Center, Ala Wai Canal/Waikiki, University of Hawaii at Manoa and Kaimuki/Diamond Head. At this location, you can stay away from the craziness of Waikiki but still enjoy the easy access to Waikiki as well as other locations favored by locals.
Apartment:
The apartment is in a secured condo building. It is furnished to create a relaxing and comfortable stay. In your room, you will find:
- a very comfortable full size bed with beautiful and quality cotton bedding
- night stand with drawers, as well as adjustable night lamps
- mirrored closet
- desk with two drawers and ergonomic chair for you to have a dedicated study or work space
- TV with chromecast
- ceiling fan with 6 adjustable speed and various lighting modes, and
- blackout curtain
The bathroom is spacious with a shower/tub combo, toilet, sink, washer/dryer, shelves and cabinets. Towels, beach towel, blow dryer, laundry detergent and dryer sheets will be provided.
The living room has a full-size fold-down futon. So the entire apartment can sleep a max of 4 people. There are yoga mats and dumbbells in the living room if you feel like getting a little workout during your stay.
You will also have access to a fully equipped kitchen, dining space with large dining table, and a small patio/lanai.
Getting around:
The building has very easy access to freeways and surrounded by major city roads. From the building, you are about 7-15min drive away from the world famous waikiki beach, Ala Moana Shopping Center, Diamond Head hiking trail, 24hr fitness gym and UH Manoa Campus. Airport is approximately 20min away depending on traffic. A variety of restaurants, grocery stores, drug stores are also within 5min drive. For convenience, there is a mini mart in the high-rise across the street.
If you prefer public transportation, Honolulu has great bus systems. There are bus stops within the same block. For bike riders, the nearest Bikeshare (Biki bike) station is located about 5min walk away down the street.
A few things to note:
- There is a decent amount of traffic noise due to the apartment location. It doesn't bother me but if you are a light sleeper, this may not be the right place for you. Please reach out if you have questions.
- The apartment is being rented as the entire place (not shared apartment) only during the June, 2023. The car rental with parking is also meant for June 2023. But if you need longer stay, please message me and we can discuss possible arrangements.
- Hawaii required taxes (approximately 18% for Honolulu) not included and will be collected upon arrival. Tax can be paid through venmo, PayPal, or CashApp. ...
