Konea 408 is an expansive one-bedroom suite boasting views of what West Maui is most famous for, the blue Pacific Ocean and the lush West Maui Mountains. An additional den area offers fantastic value unique to this class of suites at Honua Kai.
When it's time to rest, the gentle Maui breeze will lull you into deep slumber in the primary bedroom's king-sized bed. If needed, the living room sofa converts to a queen-sized bed to accommodate up to two additional guests. A second sofa sleeper in the den area converts to a queen-size bed, bringing the total sleeping capacity to 6. A unique benefit of this second bedroom is that it offers ocean views and natural light versus its fraternal twin in the neighboring "06" stack, which does not.
The living room and primary bedroom both have a flat-screen television if you want to catch a movie or your favorite show while you drift off, and there is a third television in the den area.
We encourage you to express your culinary creativity in the well-appointed kitchen. The space is fully equipped with stainless steel Viking appliances, a built-in wine cooler, and granite countertops, and we have provided all the cookware & utensils for you to prepare the perfect meal or refreshment... just bring the ingredients. We really enjoyed our condo. Loved the lanai for morning breakfasts. The extras such as beach chairs and cooler were greatly appreciated and we used them everyday. The den area was great for my teen, she had her own space to herself.

Fun family friendly getaway
All excellent. Couple things to note—while it does technically have a partial ocean view, it really is more mountain/common grassy area view. Well equipped for basic cooking. Washer/dryer in unit a plus.
The property mgt team (Maui resort rentals) was outstanding with communications and customer service.
Would definitely stay again, but at a less peak time (non holiday) as pricey during Christmas.

Beautiful place and location. We always stay at Honua Kai when visiting Maui, and this unit was great. Well equipped kitchen and baths. Loved having the den for extra space.
Only recommendation to owner is so replace the old, uncomfortable spring mattress in the Den sofabed. Or add a mattress topper. Otherwise, all was perfect!
