Stay cool with air conditioning in the main living area and ceiling fans throughout. | | The master bedroom has a comfortable Cal King size bed. The bathroom is remodeled with new cabinets and tile counter tops and has a shower/tub combination. In the living room you will find a comfortable Queen size sleeper sofa and flat screen TV. The condo also includes a washer and dryer, free WiFi, and cable.
**Please note that the Papakea Resort charges a $25/day facility fee for your first 10 consecutive days in a 30 day period. The fee includes free parking, unlimited tennis, pickleball and shuffleboard court use, Wifi throughout the resort, a full High Def cable package, and local phone calls. Additional vehicles are $5 per day. This fee is collected by the Front Desk upon arrival.
All cancellations will contain a 4% cancellation fee, if outside cancellation penalties!...

Cute property was overpriced for what it is. Dishes were no clean. The beach on property was not what we expected see as even at low tide the beach is only 20 ft wide

The accommodations were beautiful!! We arrived late Saturday evening (August 5). Thank God my son in law (from another unit) & I went out shopping for groceries Saturday night. The fresh produce in the nearby grocery was pretty picked over. So my daughter went to Safeway in Lahaina early Monday morning for fresh items. By luck she went back for a large bag of ice and put it in the drawer of her Fridge. I heard loud winds in the middle of Tuesday night. When I awoke on Tuesday morning at 6 am with a phone call from my daughter in Wisconsin the alarm clock was flashing 12:20. During the call it went dark and the power went out. We searched for a flashlight, candle or lanterns. There were none in the condo. At about 7:30 am my husband, daughter and 2 granddaughters drove to Lahaina for breakfast at the Daily Grind thinking it was just our Condo. As we drove we saw multiple power lines down and all businesses without power. People seemed to be going into Safeway. So we went in and bought 2 jugs of Iced Coffee, cereal for the kids and Maui Gold pineapple. We were there for maybe 15 minutes. When we walked out we could smell smoke and see smoke coming up from across the road from the Safeway in the distance. We went back to Papakea. We were able to keep lunch and breakfast foods cold in the makeshift cooler/refrigerator drawer, but had no entree food. So about 11:00 my son in law, me and the2 girls started driving to the Safeway. We got half way and turned around.

Pretty property. Great view. Nice porch. I liked they had chairs, boogies boards and an umbrella for the beach. Washer and dryer was convenient
Cons: needs updating. Lots of small roaches, only 3 or 4 burners on the stovetop worked. Needed at least one descent frying pan.

We loved our stay! Our unit has everything we needed and more! Our kids loved the welcome gift basket, such a sweet surprise :) the resort itself is close to everything. We were able to get in touch with the property manager easy, and made sure that if we needed help or had any questions that they are just a phone call away. We definitely enjoyed our stay here. Cant wait to book our next trip! Will recommend to family and friends for sure!! Thank you again!

I have to say that my stay was fantastic, the room was clean (some critters here and there were seen, but none were manifested in the room. It must be the building or resort as a whole) so very minimal to none were seen in the room. There was a washer dryer combo in a cabinet, we didn’t use them but it was nice that they were there in the event we needed to wash anything. Room had a coffee machine, microwave, TV, and a working stove that we could use to cook along with pots and pans. There was a dishwasher, but it didn’t get used as we tried to use disposable everything (except for coffee cups). The fridge was big and fully functional with a working ice maker that we would fill the mini cooler that was in the room for us to use and take when we would leave to explore. You get full access to the pools and jacuzzi that are heated and there are even grills available for free use too. The views are great from the room. There was even some Hawaiian treats and coffee to greet us in the room when we checked in. My family and I loved it so much, that we will look for this room again for next year’s trip to the island.

Nice location great outdoor but this Property has lots of cockroaches nothing is remodeled room wasn’t clean bedsheets were dirty called the reservation line they told me someone will come out no1 did
