Feel the charm at this newly remodeled cottage on Ali'i Drive at the Kona Islander #341. This studio has a new queen bed and sleeper sofa. There is a kitchenette, desk area to work, and smart television. Sit out on the lanai and listen to the birds.
This studio is newly remodeled and has an excellent cottage charm. The kitchenette area is by the entry and has a small refrigerator, air fryer, blender, coffee maker, and more. The bathroom has a stone-tiled shower and a rain shower head.
The living area has a queen bed, sleeper sofa, desk area to work, and smart television. Enjoy the box air conditioning unit in the studio or open the lanai doors and let in the Hawaii air. Have a cup of Kona coffee on the lanai and listen to the birds.
The Kona Islander has a swimming pool, hot tub, BBQ area, and lush tropical gardens. There are coin-operated laundry facilities for guests' use. You will be in the heart of Kailua-Kona on Alii drive.
Please note:
- There is no elevator, and the unit is on the 3rd floor.
- There is no central air conditioning.
- There is an air conditioning box in the unit.
- There is no stove or oven.
- There can be a shortage of parking at this complex, and guests may need to park on the street in front of the property if no parking spots are available.
While we strive to keep all photos up to date, there may be new and updated pieces of furniture or decor that are different than in the original pictures. The functionality, available seating, and sleeping space will remain the same or may improve.

I have stayed at the Kona Islander 2 other times, and liked the layout of this studio the best. It had nice large living area and separate kitchenette. Enjoyed my morning coffee on the balcony.

The place was exactly as we expected, and was a perfect place to stay at while being busy on the island! Would definitely consider staying again if we come back!

Unit was very clean, well stocked with about everything one could need. Right in the heart of Kona, walking distance to restaurants, shopping, no need for a car.
There is a toaster oven, air fryer, coffee, pot, anything anyone would need if you wanted to make food. Personally, I don’t go on vacation and cook. Of course there’s no stove because they’re against it, but there’s plenty. There’s a large screen TV, with cable, and streaming.
I thought it was very sweet that there was a small bag of coffee for one serving in the morning left in the refrigerator, and one bottle of water. Really made my day, so that I didn’t have to go out and start shopping immediately. All in all, it’s a very nice unit in the heart of Kona, I highly recommend it. I come to Kona several times a year, my daughter is a WYAM student, and I always stay at the Islander, it’s the best.

We loved the body boards and sand toys. The kids were happy with the pull out couch and bed was good. The kitchen area was well stocked with appliances. We did run out of garbage bags, but were stayed the in the room for 11 nights. With the Kona Islander all the rooms are the same size, so for two adults and two kids it was small with bags. So pack as light as possible. The kids loved the size of the TV. The lani was a little small with the owners storage box, but for two people it was perfect.

We had such a great stay, the property was in the ideal place to walk to anything you’d want to eat drink in Kailua village. Parking on site was limited after sunset, but you’re able to park for free anytime on the side streets and highway. We’d stay here again and recommend to any of our friends.

I had a wonderful stay at Kona Islander 341. The check-in was effortless and the unit was spotlessly clean. The air conditioning was efficient and the wifi was fast & reliable. Although I didn't use the television, it was a nice touch to the space. The location was ideal as it was situated off the main drive, offering easy access to coffee shops, restaurants, and boutique stores. If you're in the mood for a short walk, you can also find grocery stores and Kona Brewing nearby. The kitchenette was perfect for reheating leftovers and I especially appreciated the stylish wood shelving. The condo was also quiet and cozy, making for a relaxing experience after a day of adventure. I would highly recommend this property and would love to return in the future.
