I've stayed at a number of condos in Hali'i Kai and this is by far the best quality experience I've had on property. Communication with the owners was seamless, the location is perfect and the amenities in the home are excellent.

We had stayed at Hali Kai once before in Building 7. This unit is in Building 11 which is closer to the ocean and the pool. The ocean view over the golf course was great. Sunsets were terrific and we loved sitting on the lanai for breakfast in the morning and anytime in reality.
The unit was well supplied. Of particular note the activity closet was full of beach gear including snorkel equipment, boogie boards, towels, an umbrella and more.
We had a couple issues that the owners were right on top of. They live close. The A/C took some time to cool the unit, working well in the living area and main bedroom but a little weak in the second bedroom. We made use of the ceiling and other fans supplied so it wasn't an issue in October. I can see the second bedroom getting warm in the summer however.
This is our favorite complex in Waikoloa because of the ocean views for many of the units (almost nonexistent in the other complexes in the area) and the pool/restaurant/bar area, something no other condo complex in Waikoloa has. The gym is ok for cardio, not much else but it's nice using the cardio equipment with a direct ocean view.
Of note be prepared to climb stairs with luggage unless you have a ground floor unit. I would say only ground floor is handicap accessible.

Mary and Ed and their incredible Halii Kai property are one of a kind. They’ve worked hard to create an ambience of beauty and peace with their wonderful decor and artworks. The location so close to the club makes it easy to enjoy all its perks even more (exercise music food specials) and now there’s even a Tesla to rent in Turo. Cannot wait to return.

Fantastic condo in a great location. The condo was in excellent condition, clean and well cared for. It was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay including laundry supplies, beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, sporting equip, etc. The golf course and ocean views from the patio were amazing, and this condo has a very short stroll to the pool. The pool and cabana were never too crowded, and have an incredible setting along the coast. Hali'i Kai is a great location with its close proximity to beautiful beaches and the best weather on the Big Island.

Great location ... close to the property pool, the Hilton Resort, the golf course and perfect views of the sunset off the lanai every night. This condo was very fresh and clean. Really appreciated the supplies of essentials such as extra toilet paper, hand soap, Kleenex, paper towels, trash bags, laundry pods, dishwasher pods etc. So nice to not have to worry about bringing those items or running to the store to get them after you are there. Also so wonderful to have a supply closet full of beach and pool gear. Again, a lifesaver for folks traveling from the mainland. The pool and restaurant area were first class.
Loved the views of the ocean, mountains and rocky coast while dining and swimming. Thank you for a wonderful vacation. We will cherish the memories made forever. If we are blessed enough to ever go back to Hawaii, we will definitely stay here again!

This proved to be the perfect stay. Property had everything we needed for the beach. Everything was in perfect working order. Due to a mix up (probably my fault) we could not find the property code and gate code to get in. This was taken care with a simple phone call. Thank you for the prompt reply. Being able to eat at the restaurant on the premises proved to be a plus. We ate there several times. Would definitely book again.

The condo was absolutely beautiful. It had everything we could possibly need for cooking, swimming, and beach time. It was very clean and organized and the view from the lanai was stunning! We had our coffee every morning watching the golfers and enjoying the ocean view.
The restaurant on the property had awesome drinks and food. The pool was perfect and was great for an evening swim. The owners are very responsive and we would definitely recommend this condo. You will not be disappointed!
