Effective October 4th, 2024, through October 28th, 2024, Papakea Resort will undertake an extensive plumbing project. There will be additional noise from surrounding work on Building B through September 13, 2024. Standard work hours for this project will be from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, unless authorized for weekend work. Contractors may be present on the property to commence preparatory tasks as early as 7:00 AM. Non-working holidays are already included in the schedule. To minimize disruption, any excessively loud work will not commence before 10:00 AM. Dates are subject to change. Not all units will be affected at the same time.

Papakea B307 is tastefully decorated with Hawaiian inspired decor and furnishings and features a convenient and space saving Queen size Murphy bed. The spacious bathroom features a large, walk in shower.
Papakea Resort is located at North Ka'aanapli Beach and features 13 acres of lush landscaped grounds, fresh water koi ponds, 2 salt water swimming pools, 2 large spas, 12 gas BBQ's, 2 putting greens, 2 shuffleboard courts and 3 lit tennis courts, complimentary concierge services and a 24-hour front desk with plenty of open parking. The condo is located within walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, farmer's market, snorkel gear rental shop, gift shops and an ocean side park. Each evening, tiki torches light up the property for an exquisite Hawaiian tropical ambiance.
There is a sandy beach just minutes from the condo; sand levels can vary depending on the weather and ocean conditions. There are also many other beaches walking distance and just a short drive away! Enjoy swimming, snorkeling, turtle spotting, boogie boarding, paddle boarding, and whale watching (during whale season) from this ultimate Maui property.
Our on-island team provides: Dish soap, laundry soap and dryer sheets, in addition to a complimentary starter set of Papaya Noni shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and body soap.
This condo is managed professionally by My Perfect Stays, an on-island property management company.
**PLEASE NOTE that Papakea Resort requires a $25/day facility fee. The fee includes a parking permit, Wi-Fi throughout the resort, cable and local calls during your stay, yoga, water aerobics and other classes, complimentary use of tennis racquets, putting, and pickleball equipment. Additional vehicles are $5 a day. This is collected by the Front Desk upon arrival. **

I would recommend this condo to any couple or small family of three. It was clean, has a great view and the complex has nice amenities.
The owners have clearly spent time thinking of their guests. Some of the nice things about the unit: a nice cooler bag to use, ice blocks to use in the cooler, lots of hangars in the closet, snorkels, beach chairs, lots of towels. In the kitchen: spices, coffee and filters, good knives, pots/pans, dishwasher pods, laundry pods. The credenza on the patio that covers the AC unit was nice and was useful for setting food while we ate on the patio and enjoyed the great views of the ocean. Clearly, these owners care about their guests.
The only item that I would recommend replacing is the dishwasher. The other appliances in the kitchen were newer but the dishwasher is an older model. Not really a complaint as it worked well, but it is just outdated compared to the rest of the kitchen. My wife thought the stools could be a bit more comfortable (perhaps padded), but again, not really a complaint just a suggestion.
The Murphy bed was nice and the sleeper sofa worked well, though a bit hard to close at times. Be aware, they are very close together, but not really an issue since we only slept in them and folded them up when not in use.
This is a very nice unit with a GREAT view! I would recommend it to anyone and my family will definitely consider it again on our next trip to Maui.
