Great house with lots of space. Easy check in, very clean. They just re-did the beautiful pool. Rachel, the house attendant was so sweet and gave us great insight on some local spots to visit. Would highly recommend for small groups and families

We were able to visit all parts of the island from here. The house was perfect with lots of space for our group, and plenty of towels and other items that we did not have to pack in a suitcase.

We enjoyed staying here. It was a convenient location just south of downtown Kona. It was in between two nice beaches in a quiet neighborhood. The owner was very responsive if I had questions and the on-site caretakers were always respectful of us and very courteous. The ac worked well and kept us cool. We had 8 adults in our group and we all enjoyed our stay.

If you have a big crew this house is perfect. The little girl who lived downstairs became fast friends with our kids. Great stay, loved the sauna!

I specifically asked if the construction was completed since that had been a problem in another review. I received an email saying that it was. There was construction going on for the entire stay. Two guys digging a couple days and the owner building a fence around pool. I had to ask that pool be cleaned. We found three beetles in home and lots of gnats. The gnat problem could have been solved by better screens or repairing louvered window screens, I understand that bugs could be a problem in Hawaii so I could overlook the beetles found.The home was a good size for our family of six adults and one 12 year old.There were also a lot of people coming and going. I believe two units are rented on this property besides the care taker unit. The Workers were friendly but again I was told that the construction was completed,

The home is spacious and comfortable, not fancy. It is in a great location in terms of being near 2 great little snorkel beaches and easy access to town.
The place is stocked with the very basics, no frills, no extra towels, condiments or xtra dishes etc... No games or beach toys which some vrbo’s make available so you don’t have to purchase. The road noise is constant from 7AM to 9PM so if that bothers you, this isn’t the place for you, but if you want to be that close to the beach, you have to deal with it. We acclimated after the second day and the pool and yard are nice to wind down in. The BBQ worked great and we managed a spaghetti dinner in one pot! the Murphy bed in the den, gave us the extra room we needed for the 8 adults and one toddler we had,
There is no control over the AC but it’s set to keep it nice and cool. There is a warning about keeping the doors shut so bugs don’t get in and you MUST or they will and they ain’t cute bugs.
All in all, for us, it was a good stay for us!

This was a great location, close to beaches. Very clean.
The only complaint we have is there was construction every day that we were there. They are updating their “caretaker quarters”, the construction personnel would work from 7am-9pm every day. Banging. Sawing. Walking around the property at all hours of the night. Making us feel uncomfortable at times. We had stopped using the pool after a couple of the workers were staring too hard. While I understand the concept of having caretaker quarters, there should be some limits/boundaries. Checking the propane grill at 9:30pm just seemed odd.
To summarize - if the construction wasn’t going on and there weren’t so many people walking around during our stay - this would have gotten 5 stars. We chose a VRBO for the privacy a hotel can’t give you, and we may as well have stayed in a hotel with the amount of stuff that was going on on the property.

House was as described. Plenty of room for the eight of us. We went for fishing at Keauhou Bay, so the location was great. Would stay there again
