Experience Kauai's Coconut Coast in ease, comfort, and style at this newly renovated condo in Plantation Hale Suites just outside the town of Kapa'a. In this lovely spot between Poipu and Hanalei, you'll enjoy enviable access to the entire island.
Plantation Hale is beautifully located within a short stroll of Waipouli Beach, with grounds that include outdoor swimming pools, a hot tub, shuffleboard, a grilling area, and manicured lawns dotted with palm trees. You'll be just a few steps from live music, galleries, and cafes at the Coconut Marketplace, and you can meet up with the Ke Ala Hele Makale bike and pedestrian path to explore Kapa'a Town about a mile north.
This corner condo sits on the ground floor, offering a shaded lanai overlooking the verdant grounds. The renovated interior is open and airy, featuring a well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar, a circular dining table for four, and a living room with a soft sectional and a 65-inch smart TV. Sliding glass doors connect to the lanai in both the living room and the bedroom, where you'll find another 65-inch smart TV and two beds with memory foam mattresses.
Beach chairs, a boogie board, and an umbrella are provided for your beach days, while AC and free WiFi await your return home in the afternoons.

The property was infested with cockroaches and the property owner was aware of this before our arrival as when we got into the condo there were roach traps all over the kitchen. The property owner has refused a full refund and we were kicked out by the business Vacasa that runs the renting of the condo and we were only provided a different place for 2 nights out of the 11 we had left and they left us stranded to find our own accommodations on an island that was booked.

Plus-es of the stay:
- apartment was very clean at arrival
- no insects! also there was non disturbing, mild pest treatment done during our stay as we were away
- AC was oldish and small, but it worked just fine to cool down the space + was programmable (we could set it on tem 2-3 hr before we are back home)
- kitchen was very well equipped, even with small minor details. No dishwasher though, but it was not a problem for us.
- Plantation Suits personal was very much available and attentive. Brought us beach towels right away, brought us blankets and such..
- House was very "livable", meaning there were laundry beans, beach chairs, vagon car to load it all to carry to the beach, even a buggy board, iron board and plenty of towels (enough for 10 day vacation of 4!!!)
- laundry room is just by the unit. Requires app to install and put $$ on the account to use it. Otherwise, was very clean and worked just fine.
- stay location was EXCELLENT: close to all the grocery stores, close to the beach and kinda mid island, so equal way to both ways
Minus-es:
- we arrived at 10 am local time. Check in is very late - at 4 pm. I called to push it somewhat up, but no success. I wish Vacassa and Plantation people would be more flexible in that way
- couch in the living room is good, but needs extra rug under it as it slides on the floor extra easily and hard to seat on or sleep on
