Hilton Vacation Club Ka'anapali Beach, (Formerly Kaanapali Beach Club) is a fabulous Ocean Front Resort located on the north end of the famous Kaanapali Beach. It is a 3 tower, 12 story high-rise building that is a very unique structure as the center of each tower is open to the atrium/courtyard below. If you are familiar with Embassy Suites, then you have an idea of what to expect as the resort was originally known as the Embassy Resort at Kaanapali Beach.
The one bedroom suite is over 820 square feet and both the living room and the bedroom take advantage of the fabulous views. The bath is very large and has a private entrance from both the bedroom and the living area so as to make the unit very comfortable for sharing. You can have either a king bed in the bedroom or 2 doubles - your choice. The suite has a sleeper sofa and there is a small kitchen minus the range. (A large electric skillett and/or a crock pot can be bought to your room at no charge) There is a microwave, dishwasher and full size refrigerator and barbeque grills on site. There are beautiful Hawaiian furnishings. The unit is air conditioned. There is a stereo and DVD player in the living room and TVs in both the living room and bedroom. There is now wireless internet throughout the resort.
ONE ACRE POOL with waterfall and waterslide. Separate kiddies pool. Hot Tub.
Kaanapali Beach is located on the west, dry side of Maui and one of the most requested destinations in the world. There are many golf courses nearby as well as restaurants on site and nearby. Plenty of shopping nearby and one shopping center and grocery store is just across the street within easy walking distance. There is great swimming, snorkeling and diving right in front of the resort as well as many other great locations within a short drive. We had great response from our host when we first booked the place. After that we got no check in instructions. We called VRBO when we arrived after an entire day traveling and they couldn’t help us. Told us to book our own hotel and they would cover the cost. Turns out they didn’t cover the cost. We eventually got into the resort the next day and they booked a double bed room even tho it was listed on VRBO as a king room. The unit itself was nice and clean and spacious. Good location albeit the pink exterior is a bit outdated.

We stayed at the Beach Club Resort for 7 days and had a great time. The staff were all super nice and helpful. The pool was great, especially when it was too windy to go to the beach. The beach access was a little odd and seemed like the ‘rehab’ project has been stalled for some time. The resorts to either side have constructed retaining walls with steps to access the beach but there is a fence and large nylon sand bags with ‘No Access’ signs along this resort’s shoreline.
The room was spacious and the front desk sent up a roll away bed to accommodate our party of 5. Super helpful! The abbreviated kitchen was nice to help offset food costs. I think the only addition I would make is a broom and dust pan to help keep up with the sand. All in all a great vacation!

Gary has a great place. It was clean and had plenty of kitchen items. Bed was comfortable.The pool had lots of chairs and towels. The location is close to restaurants- some in walking distance. I would stay in this condo again. Although there was no laundry- it was free and on the same floor just around the corner from unit. Parking was free.

Lovely stay the resort is very nice, but very disappointed the restaurant was not open for service. I specifically booked here for the second time for the on-site restaurant and live music. Food was available for takeout only and extremely limited. Website still does not say the restaurant is not open.

We’ve stayed several times at Kaanapali Beach Club so we know what to expect. We traveled with another family that also did a VRBO stay. Fortunately for us, Gary took care of all the communications with Diamond Resorts to ensure everything was put in our name. Check in was perfect for us, unfortunately for our friends, they used someone else who didn’t follow through by communicating the names correctly. So great job Gary! Thanks for helping us have a smooth and hassle free vacation. We highly recommend Gary’s VRBO unit and follow through.
