We’ve stayed in this building multiple times and have always enjoyed our stay. The location is what brings us back to this building, but that’s the only thing this rental has going for it. Host doesn’t respond for over an hour, the 24 hour number for the vacation rental company had no idea how to answer my questions. The shower was covered in black mold, we had to go to the store and purchase our own cleaning supplies to fix that. There was glass all over the kitchen floor. The patio smelled like human urine. The headboards fell on us while we were sleeping because they are not secured to anything. The AC barely kept the unit bearable. We were so hot at night that we barely slept the right nights we spent there. We rewatched all linens, including sheets and towels because nothing seemed clean enough to feel comfortable using. There’s so much potential here but there is an overwhelming feeling that no one really cares at all .

The stay was completely adequate for my wife and I. It is listed as able to accommodate 4. That would need to include the last 2 as children. Suggestion would be to have swimming towels as the hotel does not supply them. There were some items not in the room that were listed. I contacted the owner and let them know so they would not think we took them. I told them not to worry about bringing them. That afternoon they had purchased the items anyway. Above and beyond. The only real issue was that we were promised a phone call close to the check in time. The call never came. After a time we found a phone number in our information that gave us the door code. Overall good stay.

This unit had everything we needed but tired. Needs a freshen up and the 2 kitchen cupboard doors that are in bedroom wardrobe need putting back. We needed new kettle, toaster and bathroom light and they came and did immediately but my feeling is that should have been sorted before we got there.Checkin is 4pm and we arrived 8.30am after a 9 hour flight but no consideration about getting us in any earlier. In fact it was 4.10pm when we got possession of unit.Comfortable furniture on balcony and very nice sitting out there.Location of Waikiki Banyan is great, and the fact that unit had a bedroom and a pull down bed from wall in living room meant 2 females had their own sleeping space.There is a cafe and convenience store on ground floor and we used both. Car park provided with unit but we didnt utilise.
