The rental ownership changed after our reservation was already made. Hawaii Life now manages the house. Communications during the change was flawless. This was are second stay in the house and the entire family loved it. Plenty of snorkeling gear, towels and beach chairs. The island was pretty stormy, but snorkeling Anini was good everyday. House was clean. We wil likely rent this house again. The location is perfect for relaxing without the crowds of a resort.

This house was the most perfect space for our family vacation with kids 2 and 5, me and my husband, and my MIL! We were able to mostly hang around the house and walk across to the beach anytime was good, and let the littles stay home to rest, nap, or eat anytime needed. The house was great for a family with little kids - not too fancy, but exactly as coze as we needed.Absolutely amazing.

As others have mentioned, the property is not well kept up. While the location is unbeatable, there is some sort of golf course "cafe" at the end of the road which creates regular traffic of a mini fleet of 4 wheelers beginning before the sun comes up. The house is directly sitting on the road so this vehicle traffic is constant and very evident from your bed (bright headlights and revving engines). The home is special but could really use some TLC. All curtains, fans, window slats, etc. are covered in a thick layer of dust and grime. The bath tub has deep dark mold throughout. When we arrived the wifi was not working and the provided passcode was incorrect. This made it difficult to enter the property as there is no service and the entry is remote. We were unable to contact the property owner or manager until we drove 15 minutes into town to get access to reception. They were pretty unhelpful to be honest- especially compared to my extensive use of vacation rentals, this stood out as really negligent hosting. Once we got inside we discovered that the living room was lacking power (this is where the phone and wifi are located, so again could not contact the owner about this through the land line). My husband eventually discovered the breaker panel in a shed after hunting around the property and was able to restore the power. It took a few days for the property manager to send her husband to fix the wifi after multiple calls where she instructed us to "call the internet provider ourselves." This is listed in the property notes but we did also have a couple and a realtor come look at the home while we were all in our pajamas post breakfast. The beach itself if one of my favorite on the island and we greatly enjoyed the magic of spending a lot of time there. I would not stay at this property again in the future as sadly it feels like the owner is just biding their time to get rid of it and is not invested in the experience of the renters.

The location cant be beat! Beach ia beautiful and right there. While some house features may be outdated, it was a great, clean, and easy to use. No insect issues, but we did enjoy an occasional gecko. Beach toys, towels, and chairs all available and good for use. Great stay!

The place was simply amazing. Right across the street from the beach. It was great. We had a perfect time!
The only bad thing is there was not enough toilet paper or paper towels and when I mentioned it to the host on day 5 of 8 nothing was done to remedy the problem. So that was one thing that could have improved upon.
I would rent this property again. We had a great time. Thank you so much!
