A beautiful 4000 square foot home in the most affluent gated neighborhoods in Hawaii. The subdivision is full of multimillion dollar Homes and is 24/7 gaurded and secured. Wifi cable internet covering the whole home. The house has 2 master suites and can easily sleep 8-12 people. Every bedroom has a beautiful stone bathroom attached. It is located 3 min from shopping, 5 minutes from Kona Ocean golf course and Mountain course. 5 minutes from kayaking snorkeling and some of the best coffee farms in Kona.
It is 2 minutes to main rd of the island that connects to Waipo Valley, Mona loa Observatory, Hilo and Volcano national park.
The home is professionally managed and has a dedicated pool maintenance person, a dedicated property manager exclusive to this home, and is cleaned by a professional cleaning company which is 5 star reviewed cleaning company on the island.

For security:
The house is located in Keaheau Estates where there is 24/7 security. Given the House has huge floor to ceiling glass doors the home has security cameras at each entrance ring doorbell, indoor garage door entrance, Kitchen door entrance, living room door entrance and Main door Foyer entrance, and pool area entrance. These cameras are only active during vacancy and cleaning periods, never during guest stays. If you have any privacy concerns you can speak with the Property Manager and he can show you the cameras are deactivated upon your stay
This is our family vacation home and we regularly visit but while not there we rent it out on VRBO. Please take care of it as your own.

A lot of the other reviews were very critical of this property. I get it, you pay a lot of money per night and you have high expectations of what the property should be and have.
There were aspects of the house that were very outdated and didnt work. For example, the toilets were very old and we had one stop working while we were there, it was eventually fixed during our stay. Also, a lot of the kitchen was outdated and didnt work. However, they had other options available for us to use while we were there, so that wasnt a big deal.
The pool and hot tub were fantastic, our kids swam for hours every late afternoon when we were home for the day. We saw no signs of algae. We saw zero rodents. Also, of course there are lizards and other bugs but its Hawaii and Ive seen them everytime Ive come to the island.
The place was relatively clean (couldve been cleaner, one garbage can was packed full when we showed up) and we had a hard time getting ahold of the property manager for a day or so. The rooms are huge and the beds are comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Had issues up to 1hr 1/2 before check in owner text to say payment not made in full when it was paid on 4/20, no Host greeted us, ice machine was not working, stove stopped working, no hot water in kitchen, screen on door to pool deck torn, pool water market, mold in jacuzzi area also in master shower
Roaches in master bathroom, microwave stopped working dishwasher didn’t work properly

The property listing was completely deceitful. The listing was for a “luxury sunset home” with a private pool in a private, gated subdivision. It was everything BUT luxury. The house was filthy and in a state of disrepair, the pool was green with algae and unusable, and the central a/c was not working properly. Also, we were plagued by numerous nonworking electrical, hot water and lighting. There was also a huge ant infestation both outside and inside the house. Don’t rent this home. Beware.

This house has SO much potential…. it’s huge, located in a desirable gated community, and the neighborhood is beautiful. However the house is NOT AS ADVERTISED! The house has clearly neglected for years, if not decades. Clear evidence through your the home of water issues, leaks, and blatant mold on the walls in the bedrooms and in the laundry room. Far too many light switches don’t work, and the pans in the kitchen are all beat-up Teflon with the coating coming off in chunks. No way you’d want to eat anything cooked in them!! Pool tiles are crusted with scale and calcium, pool water is cloudy and in need of a good drain/refill with a proper filter clean/replacement.
Pool/Hot tub control system is a Cir. 1980’s Janet system which is completely inadequate for a rental property. We were not able to use the hot tub once, as it would never stay hot, and even had water level issues which caused the water to drain out of the hot tub almost completely. We were definitely disappointed knowing we rented a “premium” property, with a pool and spa, and never had the opportunity to use them.
Maintenance guy/property manager (Lono) is very nice and was responsive for the most part, up until day 3 of our stay, and after repeated attempts to have him come by to fix the spa. The property owner was completely dismissive and neglected to help us with our issues.
MAJOR RODENT INFESTATION!!!! We saw RATS and MICE, INSIDE, and way too many to count.

For a million dollar beautiful home it was not maintained well at all.
Sheets didn't match the beds plus one room looked like mice poop on the pillow case and comforter, The sprinkler system was leaking we believe which caused stagnated water and a lot of mosquitos, we filled the pool daily, hot water took forever to get hot in the master and kitchen, the floors were filthy, even had pee stains in front of toilets plus little gnats in the other two bathrooms. I know cockroaches are known in Hawaii but we were killing them constantly.
All-in-all had a great view and it is a beautiful home. Just was disappointed in the maintenance and cleanliness.
