A beautiful monkey pod tree provides shade from the hot Kona sun during the day as sea breezes flow through the entire home making naps a perfect idea. Rest on the large, comfortable lanai lounges and take in the sweeping view. The kitchen and living room area have sliding doors that open up to invite in the expanse of the Kahalu'u Bay accompanied by lulling sounds of ocean waves along the coastline.

Keauhou Shopping Center is just down the road with several restaurants and shops to enjoy after time on the beach. Kahalu'u Beach is very close and offers a great beach for snorkeling or surfing. Swim shoes are recommended.

Originally constructed in 1972, Kona Hale Pili has been totally renovated and appointed with elegant wood and stone features. Kona Hale Pili is comprised of three separate buildings with soaring vaulted ceilings that are centrally connected by an open air covered lanai. Adjacent to the covered lanai there is also an open air uncovered lanai surrounded by lush tropical landscaping. 

This oceanfront home is located at the north end of Kahalu'u Bay with unobstructed views from Kahalu'u Beach to Kaiwi Point, at the end of Kailua Bay. 

Enjoy watching the surfers at the Kahalu'u surf break, dancing spinner dolphins and breaching whales, when in season, and spectacular green-flash sunsets from your back yard. For experienced water persons, Kahalu'u Bay renowned for its plentiful tropical fish and green sea turtles is accessible and just down the road or with an easy five minute walk from Kona Hale Pili you can visit Kahalu'u Beach.

Our family absolutely loved our stay at Kona Hale Pili! The property is stunning and the view is spectacular! It was nice upon our arrival to find a basket of fresh fruit, coffee and specialty Hawaiian treats. We enjoyed waking up and watching the surfers catching waves. It would've been great to see some whales or dolphins but our seasonal timing was off. We loved the layout of the house with the large lanai dividing the bedrooms from the living area providing a quiet space to sleep while allowing others to freely talk and listen to music. The location was close to town and White Sands Beach. We will definitely be back!
