Summary:
Lovely renovated condo that is centrally located, yet off the beaten path. Gorgeous views from the spacious balcony, living room, and kitchen. Beautiful landscaping, pool, and hot tub steps from the ocean with a tiny beach for snorkeling, paddle boarding, and swimming. Easily walk to nearby restaurants and shops at Maalaea Village, or take a stroll down the 3+ mile long undeveloped part of Sugar Beach. Amazing value for families and couples. Aloha!

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire condo except for a small locked owner's closet / cabinet which is currently used for storage. The beautifully manicured grounds are open to guests as well as the beachfront pool, beachfront hot tub, beachfront BBQ / dining patio, and lawn chairs.

The Neighborhood:
If you miss the Maui of a few decades ago, or wonder what it was like, this is about as close as you can get. Ma'alaea is a small village a short walk away. It has several good restaurants, shops, a well regarded aquarium, miniature golf, a gas station, and lots of boats, whale watching trips, snorkeling to Molokini, deep sea fishing, etc. Cute, quaint, and small. Big stores and popular tourist destinations are only a short drive away. If you walk the other direction down the quiet pretty lane, there is a tiny park and the start of a gorgeous, undeveloped 3+ mile long beach toward Kihei. Swimming, snorkeling, fishing, paddle boarding, boogie boarding, surfing, and LOTS of turtles and whales (mid-December to April; because Maalaea Bay is relatively shallow, whales often give birth and nurse their babies here). Surf conditions vary from glass smooth to world class surfing-- usually there are small to moderate waves, which are generally larger in summer. There is a tiny beach also, right in front of our condo with lots of turtles. Easy access for stand up paddle boarding, and some people snorkel or swim from there. Parking is free and there are no assigned spots but plenty of parking. Parking is also available along the street and in Maalaea Village behind the aquarium.

Getting Around:
While off the beaten tourist path, we are very conveniently located. Costco, Whole Foods, Kahului Airport, and Kihei are an easy 15-20 minute drive. Lahaina and Wailea are about 30 minutes away. Kaanapali/Napili about 40. You could happily spend all your time on the beach by the condo, and there is Maui Bus service or Uber available. But Maui has so many wonderful places to explore, that most people opt to rent a car to really experience the beauty and diversity of Maui on their own. One unassigned parking spot is included as well as plentiful street parking.

Other Things to Note:
1 new Sealy Posturepedic King bed, 1 queen size air bed
There is a $50 / person / night charge for additional guests over 2 to cover increased wear, cleaning, and usage.

10.25% TA and 4.5% GE and 3% Maui County tax visibly passed on and included in quote (These taxes are required for all temporary lodging in Hawaii.
