*THE NEIGHBORHOOD
On the slopes of Kilauea, Nene Hale is located in a quiet and mellow subdivision known as Mauna Loa Estates. Here, you will be able to go out on an early morning stroll or jog. It's such a great way to take in the community. Have little ones with you? There is a park in the vicinity perfect for a family picnic. Down the road, across the street, you will find a small village with local restaurants and convenient stores. It can be a bit pricey in regard to groceries compared to other stores, I'd suggest stopping at stores in Hilo/Kea'au town on the way to Volcano. Volcano town rains pretty often and gets cold at night. I'd also suggest packing warm clothes along with your swimsuit.

*GUEST INTERACTION
The host is available everyday 7:00AM-10:00PM HST. Late check-ins are allowed. Just let the host know you will need to check in late. Early check-ins/late check-outs are not always guaranteed, but we will try to accommodate this request as best as we can. Please don't hesitate to contact the host for any needs or concerns that may arise during your stay. We want you to have an enjoyable experience.
