The room had a great view but, the curtains let 100% of the light in so sleeping past 6:00 or so was not possible. Walking to the room was also not very pleasant as it was past the maintenance area with tools, carts, etc. not exactly paradise. The shower as well had really low pressure and the stopper didn’t work. Also, there was an iron and no ironing board. With all the garbage fees the room was about $500 per night. Not recommended!

This resort was great with an awesome pool, a bar and restaurant, beautiful views, and beach access. Waking up to the amazing view each morning was incredible.

A perfect spot for our first time in Kauai! The view from the condo was absolutely gorgeous; enjoying coffee on the lanai was our favorite part. Nice comfy bed and large bathroom. Resort was very nice with beautiful pool area and landscaping. Really loved walking to the bay and taking in the sights. Hope to be back one day!

My husband and I only needed a place to rest while exploring Kauai. There is a nice view, the bed was comfy, the mini fridge and microwave were all we needed as we ate out for most meals or reheated leftovers. The pool was refreshing and hot tub was quite hot. Happy Talk Lounge is quite popular during their evening live music so the parking lot closest to the room was full between 6-8p, but there are other parking options slightly further away. The bar does have tasty food and good drinks though so I would recommend checking it out. The walls are extremely thin so if you are a light sleeper or don't want to hear the guests talking in the adjoining room, I would recommend downloading a sound app to your phone to provide some ambient noise.

This place delivers on its promise of a beautiful view of the North Shore's lush green mountains. Even with cloudy and showery conditions, the lanai is a great spot to soak in Kauai's beauty.The unit offers a comfortable bed, plus a microwave, a Mr Coffee and some kitchenware. It's located in Hanalei Bay Resort, a steep 5-7 minute walk to a nice little beach with sensational bay views. Shuttle service is available. **Warning** Wild chickens crow at all hours of the night here so be prepared to deal with the noise, which at times can be piercing. The front door needs to be soundproofed.

The unit itself was a nice hotel room with a beautiful view of the mountains. The room was clean with plenty of towels in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the ac was perfect. I would recommend the owners add some type of door sealer for the door that joins this room to the one next door. We could hear everything they were doing (especially cooking and cleaning pots early in the morning) and could smell every time they cooked. Parking was a nightmare after 3pm. Being that we paid for parking we were a bit upset the lot we were told to park in was overcrowded every day starting at happy hour (3pm) which meant if we left, we wouldn’t have a place to park until after 10pm or later. The view from the balcony and the pool area was nice. Access to the small beach was cute, but felt like we were trespassing on another hotels property.There was one restaurant with bar and a separate pizza restaurant that was under construction (looked like it used to be a very nice restaurant). There are no other restaurants within walking distance and the only ones nearby were at other hotels. There actually wasn’t much to do nearby this hotel. Overall, I’m glad we split our two weeks to stay here and another place. While this unit was nice and the hotel was once a grand place to stay, there really isn’t much to do nearby unless you’d like to drive 30+ minutes one way. So I’d say this rental is great for relaxing and lounging by the hotel pool and catching happy hour. If you plan on doing a lot of tourism, be prepared to drive a lot.

We stayed here for a few days on our honeymoon and loved our stay. We had a personal note and some chocolates left for us, everything was clean, and the view is to die for. Also had super quick & easy correspondence with Jason during our stay. The whole Hanalei Bay Resort was top notch as well. We loved laying by the pool and eating in the lounge, where there was live music. The town of Hanalei, just a short drive away, was our favorite place we visited. Can't recommend this spot enough!!
