The glow from the tiki torches at sunset will most certainly bring the aloha spirit. Welcome to Hawaii!
Guests will have access to the complex pool, hot tub, barbecue grills, and picnic area. Onsite parking is free and available on a first come first serve basis. Please pick up a parking pass at the front desk in the main lobby. There is also parking available at the street and across the street. Car is recommended to explore other areas of the island, but not necessary if you want to stay close to town.

The best way to get around Kona is by car, or if you like to walk, that is also an option. Here at the Kona Islander Inn, a car is not necessary as everything is within walking distance. Plus there is a Trolley stop nearby to take you to several beaches, stores, etc.

The location was excellent. The condo was somewhat updated but it needed a few cosmetic updates. Unfortunately it smelled of mold which might be due to being by the beach. Parking is not easy. There is no late check out unless you pay for it dearly. We left the condo early came back a couple minutes before our check out time and the cleaning person was already in the condo, so should work both ways. Condo does come completely stocked with towels, erc etc plenty of things for the beach and pool.
