Kaanapali Shores Vacation Rentals
Located in north Kaanapali, the Aston Kaanapali Shores is within five miles of championship golf courses and four miles of historic Lahaina. There are a total of 460 guest rooms, which include standard hotel rooms, studios, one- and two-bedroom suites and a penthouse. These are split across the main nine-story building and a separate four-story wing.
The hotel rooms feature island-style décor and wicker and rattan furnishings. Wireless Internet access is complimentary. Unfortunately there are no lanais attached to the hotel rooms, and some lower floor rooms suffer from street noise. The suites and studios meanwhile have private lanais and fully-equipped kitchens. The suites include washers/dryers and dining sets.
For recreation within the resort there are two freeform outdoor pools, both with sundecks and spa tubs. There is also a beachfront fitness center including a sauna, however, these facilities are not included within the room rates. The hotel also has beach equipment such as boogie boards and kayaks available for rent. There are also three flood-lit tennis courts available, free of charge to hotel guests.
The hotel includes one beach-facing restaurant on the pool deck. Named the Beach Club Restaurant, it offers family friendly casual dining. Open all day, typical dishes include steaks, pastas and local sea food at dinner time. A full bar caters for those hoping to sample a tropical drink or two.
