E Komo Mai or Welcome to beautiful and majestic Kapalua Maui. The Kapalua Bay Villas 16 acre property is host to 141 condos in 27 buildings all built to flow along the natural contour of the Kapalua coast. Due to the rugged coastline which harbors numerous protected bays, beaches and small peninsulas Kapalua in Hawaiian translates loosely to, "arms embracing the sea". Rows of majestic New Caldonia or Cook Pine trees line the expansive lush green landscape of Kapalua Maui from the sloping hillside down to the shore. Close by you will find DT Fleming Beach, Honolua Bay, which is Maui's #1 snorkel destination, as well as Kapalua Bay, Napili Bay and Oneloa Bay, all within in walking distance. Kapalua is perfect for walking, hiking, and biking. There are two world-class golf courses, Kapalua Tennis Garden, many fine dining establishments, shopping, and the spa at the Montage Kapalua Bay.
Notice: Please be aware that Kapalua Bay Villas will be resurfacing the three community pools in spring 2026 ( Mar 2 - May 22). Each pool will be closed during its scheduled dates below.

GUEST NOTICE: The Plantation Course is open for play. The Bay Course is currently closed. This update was recently announced by Alex Nakajima, General Manager of Kapalua Golf.
You can enjoy world-class play at the Plantation Course and nearby at Ka'anapali Golf Courses or across the many courses on island.
The Tennis Courts at The Bay Villas have been resurfaced, to include new nets and fencing. The Courts will be available to Guests and Owners of the Bay Villas only. The hours the courts are available for play will be from 8 AM to Dusk, seven days per week.

Beautiful place, great location! We enjoyed being able to walk the Coastal Trail and especially loved Oneloa Beach---not crowded at all.

Overall, we were very happy with the condo in the Kapalua Bay Villas. The condo is a short walk (less than 5 minutes) from the coastal trail with easy access to several beaches. The beach closest to the property is a great place to watch the sunset, but maybe not the safest for swimming. There are several other beaches within a 10 minute walk that are much better for swimming and beach activities. The condo itself was great for two people and provided very nice views of the ocean. The lanai off the master bedroom was slightly dirty and only provided a view of the parking lot, but the lanai off the living/dining area was excellent. The kitchen is small and some of the appliances did not work (the toaster), but it was enough for what we needed. Pay close attention to your food and make sure to secure it or you will attract ants. We have visited Hawaii several times before and never had issues with ants, but for some reason they were everywhere in this condo...even in areas where there was no food present. The property management company we worked with was excellent and provided great customer service throughout the trip.
