Rental Overview
Aloha to your Hawai'ian vacation at our home in West Molokai. The Island is the perfect getaway for slowing down and enjoying the beauty of old Hawai'i. From the peaceful sound of tropical birds and crashing waves in the morning to the ocean and sunset view, you will have the best time on the Island in our condo. West Molokai offers pristine white-sand beaches, coral reefs, trails, local markets, and much more.
Our condo at the Kepuhi Beach Resort is the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The 750 sq-ft upper corner unit is ideal for individuals, couples, small families, or friends. The condo has 2 bedrooms: a king-size and queen-size bed in the upper loft and 1 bath. The bedrooms are spacious and comfy. The bathroom is well-appointed, with a shower/tub combination and plenty of towels and linens provided. The modern-style living area has vaulted ceilings, plenty of windows, ceiling fans, and a lofted section used as a second bedroom. The condo is also fully equipped with all the amenities you need to feel at home, including a full kitchen (refrigerator, cooking ware, oven, stove, microwave, and coffee maker), smart TV, and fast-speed WiFi (1000Mbps).
We take good care of our island condo and love to share it with all our guests. So please be respectful of our home while enjoying your stay.
The unit's large windows and lanai have an amazing ocean view and sunsets. You could watch the whales spouting and playing between December and late March while relaxing on the porch. The condo also has plenty of natural light and perfect airflow, thanks to the trading winds of West Molokai. The balcony is ideal for enjoying a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine while taking in the breathtaking views.
Smoking of any kind is prohibited inside the unit and on the lanai. Also, pets are not allowed at the Kepuhi Beach Resort. Mahalo.
The Facility
Kepuhi Beach Resort is about twelve miles of oceanfront property located at West Molokai. Pristine beaches, vegetation, and the deserted Sheraton Molokai Hotel surround the property. The facility includes:
• An oceanfront swimming pool
• BBQ area with picnic tables and lawn
• Convenience shop with some groceries, snacks, and necessities
• Coin-operated washing machine and drier (takes only Quarters)
• Hiking trails and strolling passes
• Amazing sunsets and aloha vibes
Beaches and the Surrounding Area
Untouched and quiet beaches surround the Kepuhi Beach Resort (i.e., Kepuhi Beach, Pohaku Mauliuli Beach, Pāpōhaku Beach, and more). They are perfect for swimming and snorkeling during the summer and ideal for surfing in the winter.
West Molokai is the arid side of the Island, but it gets lush green after the rain. The vast, arid, serene landscape is also perfect for morning and evening strolls, running, hiking, and biking. Plenty of colorful tropical birds, turkeys, and white-spotted Axis deer are hanging around the property and the open lands. Between December and March, you could frequently see humpback whales.
Getting to Molokai
Traveling to Molokai requires a 25-minute flight on Mokulele airlines, a local air carrier. You can book it directly through Mokulele airlines or via Alaska Airlines. The short flights depart from Maui's Kahului Airport (OGG) or Maui's Kapalua Airport (JHM), or Oʻahu's Honolulu International Airport Commuter Terminal 3 (HNL). You will arrive at Molokai Airport (MKK), located about 7 miles by vehicle from the center of the Island.
When you arrive in Molokai, the condo is about 20 miles west of the main grocery stores in Kaunakakai. So, we'd suggest you make a grocery run after picking up your rental car at the airport and heading to West Molokai.
Car Rental and Parking
Alamo is the Island's only official car rental company, located right outside the airport. Turo (an App) is another car rental option.
There is plenty of free parking for one vehicle. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, right in front of the condo and across the resort. There is no parking on the streets.
Grocery Stores and Restaurants
The two main grocery stores are in Kaunakakai, the main town in the center of the Island. In addition, there is another General Store in Maunaloa and a small convenience shop in the Kepuhi Beach Resort. Most café, restaurants, ice cream, and food trucks are in Kaunakakai at the center of the Island (about a 20-mile drive from the West side).
Please book your stay and let us know if you have any questions.

Everything was great!
Condo was perfect, hosts were wonderful and had excellent communication. Molokai is a special place, happy to finally experience all of its natural beauty and slow pace. Thank you Noah and Pete! Mahalo, Megan
Great place, exactly what we needed.
This is a wonderful property... one of the nicest that we have ever stayed at.
Comfortable, beautiful condo with all the amenities to fix meals and watch sunsets every night! Easy access to outdoor barbecue grill and the pool. Nice walking paths around whole complex.
From this home, we watched multi-colored sunsets over the ocean, we fell asleep to the sounds of gentle waves, and we were woken each morning by the many sounds of tropical birds. The unit was beautifully appointed, roomy, super comfortable, and had the perfect size lanai, and it is located in a well cared for development. A perfect swimming beach was just 100 yards away, and if you wanted to explore a beach nearly three miles long, it was only 5 minutes away by car, and nearly deserted, as we counted less that 4 people on one day, and less than 20 on a “busy” weekend day! We have been wondering why, after 34 years of going to the major islands of Hawaii, we have waited so long to go to the island of Molokai..? This comfortable location is a beautiful place to start your Molokai adventure!
