Welcome to the Penthouse in Lanikai, our private top-floor retreat in one of Oahu's most beautiful beach communities. Our family has been sharing this special piece of paradise for over 20 years, welcoming guests from around the world who return year after year—many of them multiple times.
Perched high on the mountainside above Lanikai, the Penthouse offers some of the most breathtaking views in the neighborhood. Facing east toward the Pacific Ocean, guests enjoy unforgettable sunrises, moonrises, cooling trade winds, and panoramic views of the turquoise waters and the iconic Mokulua Islands. Experience the beauty of island living with morning walks, bike rides, beach days, and peaceful evenings overlooking the ocean.
The Penthouse comfortably accommodates up to four guests and features a primary bedroom with a queen bed, plus an additional queen bed in a semi-private sleeping area located just off the living room. The home includes one full bathroom with a shower, making it ideal for couples, small families, traveling professionals, or extended stays in paradise.
Beautifully renovated and thoughtfully furnished, the Penthouse features bamboo wood flooring, traditional lauhala mat and beam ceilings, stone countertops, Hawaiian heirloom quilts, elephant bamboo furnishings, and tasteful island décor that create an authentic Hawaiian atmosphere.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator, cooktop, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, cookware, dishes, and everything needed for a comfortable extended stay. Additional amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi, flat-screen television, and access to beach equipment.
One of the highlights of the Penthouse is the large private wraparound lanai overlooking the Pacific Ocean and the Mokulua Islands. Outdoor seating provides the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee, work remotely, read a book, dine outdoors, or simply relax while taking in the incredible views. A private charcoal barbecue grill is also provided.
Guests are welcome to use the beach and recreation equipment available on the property, including:

ACCESS & STAIRS
The Penthouse occupies the entire third level of this three-story estate and is completely private, with its own entrance and living space.
Guests enter from the front of the property using the brick steps and wooden staircase. Continue past the outdoor table area and proceed up one additional flight of stairs to reach the Penthouse entrance.
Please note that three flights of stairs are required to access the Penthouse. The reward is unparalleled privacy, steady trade winds, and some of the most spectacular views in Lanikai.
THE LANIKAI LIFESTYLE
Lanikai is known for its white-sand beaches, crystal-clear turquoise water, offshore islands, and quiet residential atmosphere. The famous Lanikai Loop is approximately 2.5 miles and is perfect for walking, jogging, and biking. Lanikai Beach is just a short walk away.

Perfect place for a longer stay - lots of stairs to the top (pack light) are worth it. Everything you need for a dose of island life.
The penthouse was perfect! It was comfortable and clean with breathtaking views. Everything about it was enchanting. You can walk to Lanikai beach or just a few minute's drive down the road is Kailua. Would definitely stay again and again.
Great property in Lanikai with excellent views of the Mokaluas. The sunrise views are the best.
Truly amazing views and right on the main Lanikai loop. You’ll feel like you are staying in the sky. Totally private. Endless views of the Mokalua Islands. Sunrise and moonrise. This place is perfect for active couples or active small families. Probably would avoid if I wasn’t excited about waking up 75 steps. But we took it as a fitness challenge and didn’t mind at all. Pack light! You’ll love this Lanikai penthouse. We will be back soon.
