I am seeking a responsible tenant for the period January 3, 2027 through June 2, 2027 while I am traveling off-island. To encourage a reservation for the entire five-month period, I offer a substantial discount during this timeframe.
Please note that this home is located within the exclusive Kahala Kua community, which requires a minimum rental period of 90 days.

Located in one of Honolulu's most prestigious residential communities, this beautiful ocean-view home sits high above the city in the gated enclave of Kahala Kua. From its elevated setting, the property enjoys sweeping Pacific Ocean views, refreshing trade winds, and a peaceful atmosphere rarely found so close to Honolulu's beaches, restaurants, shopping, and attractions.
Just minutes from Waikiki, Kahala, and downtown Honolulu, the home is ideally suited for executives on temporary assignment, retirees seeking an extended Hawaiian stay, homeowners between residences, or anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable long-term stay.
This is a private residence rather than a dedicated vacation rental and is best suited for guests seeking a peaceful, upscale residential experience.

Occupancy Policy
Although the home features three bedrooms, occupancy is limited to a maximum of two registered guests.
To preserve the home and maintain the peaceful character of the neighborhood, visitors, overnight guests, parties, gatherings, and events are not permitted at any time. This policy is strictly enforced and non-negotiable.
Because of these restrictions, rates have been adjusted below what similar luxury homes in the area may command. Additional discounts are often available during periods when I am traveling, typically during the fall, winter, and spring seasons.
Transportation
The home is located on a hillside within a gated community and is not within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, or public transportation.
A rental car is strongly recommended. While Uber and taxi services are available, transportation costs can add up quickly.
Booking Process
Because this is my personal residence, I take great care in selecting guests who will appreciate and care for the home.
After booking, you will receive a detailed rental agreement, house rules, and home operating guide. VRBO releases these documents only after a reservation has been confirmed.
You will then have 72 hours to review all materials. If you determine that the property is not a good fit, you may cancel within that review period.
I also request a brief FaceTime or video call within 24 hours of booking so that we can introduce ourselves and ensure the home is a good fit for your needs.
Important Disclosures
• Maximum occupancy is two registered guests.
• No visitors or additional guests are permitted on the property under any circumstances.
• Only one vehicle is permitted per reservation.
• The driveway is steep and requires careful driving.
• Exterior security cameras are installed for safety and property monitoring.
• A portion of the primary bedroom closet contains the owner's personal belongings.
• The owner covers the first $200 per month of electricity usage. Any amount above that is the responsibility of the guest. This policy encourages reasonable air-conditioning use.
• The leather sofa in the family room has been repaired and shows some signs of normal wear.
• There is a bleach stain on a section of the upstairs hallway carpet.
• Hot water may take up to approximately one minute to reach the upstairs shower when first turned on.
• This is a lived-in home rather than a dedicated rental property. While the residence is clean, spacious, and well maintained, some personal belongings remain on-site during guest stays.
