Only two blocks from the ocean, you can hear the waves from a large lanai that overlooks the backyard with high palm trees and lush vegetation. An equipped kitchen with quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances makes meal prep a breeze. Enjoy the convenience of a washing machine and dryer, WiFi, BBQ grill, and a two car garage. Kickback, relax, listen to the ocean and enjoy everything the Big Island and our home has to offer. The town of Pahoa is 10 minutes down the road where there is a grocery store, restaurants and shopping. Hilo is 30 minutes and Volcano National Park is 45 minutes. We have left the island with Aloha in our hearts! If you need to relax and get away from the fast pace of life, then this is the place for you! This house met all of our family needs. The kitchen had more than enough supplies, the beds were comfy, and we especially loved the lanai living rooms! We were wanting to be away for the touristy zone and this place definitely met that requirement. We enjoyed our walks to the cliffs early in the morning and then again at sunset. We enjoyed the croaking of frogs all night long and the twittering of birds all day long. The check-in was very easy and Scott was always quick to answer any questions. We were there during the tsunami and we appreciate Scott making sure our family was safe. (All was fine but we did evacuate!) This home is comfortable and cozy. We would love to come and stay again! Thank you for being wonderful hosts!
