Rental Overview
There is a place in the world where time seems to have stopped, where simplicity rules, where peace of mind can be found. Welcome to Molokai, the most Hawaiian of all the islands.
Here on Molokai, one can’t help but be allured by the ruggedness of the world’s largest sea cliffs towering above crystal clear, turquoise waters, or the gentle stretches of untamed beaches, including the second longest beach in Hawaii.
Take a leisurely drive, hike or ride a pack animal through misty rainforests, to the silvery waterfalls, or through royal coconut groves. Watch out for the wild spotted deer, Molokai is a place where authenticity reigns supreme, the only main island in which native Hawaiians are the majority - only 7,000 people live on the island. You will find a warm welcome and friendly conversation among the locals and delight in their stories reaching generations back. See how National Geographic rated it #6 out of 111 islands in an article as it was published in the November/December 2006 issue of National Geographic Traveler Read Article.
Come discover this little corner of the planet and lose yourself in its splendid beauty…or perhaps more accurately, find yourself.
Paniolo Hale is an intimate cluster of condominiums located on the sunset rich west end of Molokai. Densely landscaped and quietly private, the grounds are a tropical garden. The sounds of chirping birds, whistling trade winds and ocean waves will carry you into tranquility. Truly a place of seclusion at its best.
Our two-bedroom end unit, with 1900 square feet, sleeps five, is newly decorated and enjoys garden and partial ocean views. Completely redecorated and furnished, the two-level, two bedroom, two bath condo features a downstairs living room with stereo/CD player, cable television and VCR/DVD player with movies, dining room, a large lanai wrapping completely around two sides, fully equipped kitchen, a downstairs bedroom with two double beds and TV, and full bath. Upstairs is a spacious master bedroom with king-size bed, TV, full master bath and private sundeck. All linens are furnished, as well as boogey boards, snorkel equipment, and beach mats and other amenities.
Within the grounds of Paniolo Hale is an inviting swimming pool, an outdoor shower, and several outdoor grills and dining areas. Unfortunately the Kaluakoi golf course that is directly adjacent to Paniolo Hale has closed along with the Molokai Ranch Hotel. The picturesque shoreline is just steps away where you can enjoy the solitude of the many sugar-sand beaches, including Hawaii’s second longest sand beach, and the breathtaking sunset views famous to the islands.

The house was so spacious and lovely -- very inviting and comfortable.
Wonderful place
Very comfortable with a large open air lanai.
Staff were amazing. I loved Kara who taught the lei making class. I live in Hawaii and it was a wonderful education in Aloha! Overall, we had a fantastic stay. It would be nice if the TV was a smart TV and we could have watched a movie.
Such a great place
Awesome and quiet location with lovely beaches nearby. Host was welcoming and responsive.
The screened in wrap around lanai was wonderful as was the open air concept living room. This condo complex has well established gardens, and is located a short walk from some of the beautiful beaches on the west end of Molokai.
This condo was the nicest I have ever stayed in. Perfect Hawaiian decor. Perfect location short walk to deserted beaches. Perfect location for a hike to even more isolated beaches. Quiet area and green oasis on the dry side of Molokai. The lanai was the highlight. It wraps around the living room and has a bed for relaxing in the shade. I plan on going back.
Absolutely terrific condo in one of the best areas to stay on Molokai. Comfortable. Lots of places to sit and relax. Great internet. Well stocked kitchen with all the appliances you need to cook anything. Terrific bed and pillows. Good shower with lots of hot water. Awesome ventilation and shade from large trees so it was never hot. And...that deck/patio. Wow. It's a wrap-around and *huge*. It's like you are sitting in the trees. Perfect for morning coffee, dinners while spying on the wild turkeys or axis deer, and afternoon naps on the day bed!! You'll love it. The only thing to note - the view is quite small. You can see the ocean, but not much. That said, I've stayed in ocean front places in this same development and would choose this one *hands-down*. It's that great. The beach is a quick walk away and the tree view from the deck is truly lovely. You should stay here! I know I'm coming back.
Laura’s beautiful home was the best place that we have stayed at during our 15-nights, 3-islands visits. Laura puts a lot of love into the house - it is beautifully decorated, richly equipped, and highly maintained. We felt so blessed to be able to stay at her magnificent home. Thank you Laura for sharing your piece of heaven with us. We hope to come back again.
We loved this place! The screened in porch was incredible and the place was perfect for our family to have time to be together and play games. There were four large beds and the place was tropical and minutes from the beach. We will stay there again. Highly recommended!
This unit has a large family room area with a pass through to the kitchen and a large lanai that wraps around the property with large doors that we never closed when we were there. It was very comfortable. It may sound funny, but the beds were a real highlight. Not only were they very comfortable, but there was a double bed outside on the screened-in lanai. I slept there every night and woke up with the birds when the sun rose. It was so unique and so great. The bottom bedroom has 2 beds in it while the upstairs has a king. The upstairs gets hotter during the day, but there is a portable a/c unit in that room that helps cool it down a bit for the hot nights. We loved this place and would gladly come back.
The place was very inviting, clean, and welcoming. We loved staying here! Thanks again
Easy check-in, great location, excellent accommodations. Look forward to returning.
Internet connection very sketchy even after moving to different areas of house. Sporadic incoming messages and email every few hours beginning at 5:30pm until midnight. Upstairs shower had no hot water. Also no instructions for complicated tv. So due to no WiFi we were cut off from everything. Other than that we enjoyed celebrating 82yo birthday . It is not a place for seniors. Mahalo !
The Hale was large and gave the four of us plenty of space. It was clean and had plenty of amenities to make it an easy stay. The beds were comfortable and had a proper kitchen with all that you need .
This trip was perfect. The location of the house was about 25 min from town but had a kitchen to cook in and great space for hanging out. The beach is a quick walk and everyone was so friendly. I wouldn't have changed a thing. We have kids ranging from 8-14 and everyone loved it.
Needs airing out regularly as it was very musty-smelling. After opening all windows & doors for several days, it was much better. Enjoyed our stay.
