Laid back Molokai beach-hideaway

It's Molokai. If you like the island, you will love the stay here.

This wasa great place to stay and is a true treasure with the beaches.

Great property, lots of space and large lanai, well equipped, close to several beautiful beaches. Very quiet and relaxing. Bit of a drive to any amenities.

We had a wonderful time staying at Poniolo Hale. The unit was very well stocked with kitchen appliances and nice furnishings. The screened in porch and large lanai added some much appreciated, very comfortable living space. The beaches within walking distance were very enjoyable and relaxing. Overall, this unit is one of the best condos we have had the pleasure of staying at in Hawaii.

This was our first time to Moloka’i and it is just outstanding. Pristine, private beaches that you will share with more seals and turtles than humans. If you are after golf and restaurants this is not your place. We liked our unit so much that we extended our stay until the next guests arrived. The owners were excellent to work with on that!

Everything about this property was just right for us. Spending a week on Molokai was the best part of our trip to Hawaii. It is a long way from home, but I would be delighted to return to this lovely, quiet little island, especially if it includes another stay at this property.

The grounds are beautiful and well tended. The condo is very comfortable with screened verandas. Molokai is hawaii at a slower pace.

The home is beautiful as is the location, you are on the most beautiful beaches of the island. We literally drove every mile of paved road on the island and did not see anywhere we would have rather Ed stay. We ate in on the beautiful escreened in porch for 2 meals a day and tried a new restaurant for the other. We read other reviews that there is no ac in the house (not allowed by the condo association) and it was hotter than we prefer but hey, we were in Molokai, can’t complain. The owners have provided eveything you could need from a ton of fans to beach coolers, coffee grinders, board games etc. A very nice place to stay.

My family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids ages 13 and 10) stayed at the condo for 5 nights. We had a wonderful time. The location is the condo is perfect and we loved being able to walk to my husband's favorite beach on Molokai, Make Horse. The condo is well stocked with appliances and other needed supplies so that was very convenient. We would definitely stay here again!

We went for a family trip looking for peace and nature to recover from our busy lives, and boy, did we come to the right place! First I was a little worried about the deserted location and thought, if the condo isn’t as advertised, I have nowhere to go, but when we arrived after a 30 min drive from the airport, it was the best place ever. Sparkling clean, lots of space, super well-equipped. Patio doors open up to surrounding veranda that is protected with mosquito-netting so you have the indoor/outdoor feel without any bugs. The beds are comfortable, it’s cool at night and we were there hight of summer. The grounds are clean and well maintained, there is a super cute pool area with lounge chairs and the manager is super responsive. The beaches are a hop and skip away, you hear the waves crashing on the shore at night. Washer/dryer, dishwasher, rice cooker, coffee maker, coffee grinder - everything there, everything in great working order. You walk to ride pools, spectacular scenery, monk seals - all within minutes from this condo. Stunning in every way! For true nature lovers - so much to see, very few people, almost no tourists. Rent a 4 wheel drive if you want to go see stuff on this island - we were so happy we had the jeep. And this was the perfect stay - so comfortable! Can’t recommend enough. The pictures don’t do it justice!

Plenty of room great location plenty of linens we loved it all

We loved staying at this sweet condo… can’t beat the location, just a stone’s throw from an absolutely gorgeous beach and the condo has everything you could need. Our arrival time changed and the host was great at adjusting our check in so we weren’t hanging out in town, waiting several hours to check in. Five big stars… perfect quiet place to celebrate my 60th.

We are 2 couples. Life-Long best friends. We live in beautiful, shovel & blow white snow country so to get away together and RELAX lulled to sleep by the surf was a total needed blessing! The screened porch made for the very best place for morning coffee and meals. (We chose not to eat inside.) comfy beds, lots of towels, great supply of everything in the kitchen. Extra spices above expectations. Cinnamon in my coffee was delightful. The wagon & sm ice chests to carry all to the beaches all week was a true blessing as well. The landscaping is well cared for and tropically lush. Whomever designed this resort did a wonderful job! Our unit and all are spaced for privacy and laid back enjoyment. Everything about our stay here was “Just what the Dr. ordered.) Rest, relaxation, beauty, comfort. Best place on the island!

A lovely, very well appointed property that is steps from the beach. Everything you could need is there. Great property, great time, great value.

The whole process was easy. Everything was great, the updated kitchen was perfect. I really appreciated the fragrance free laundry detergent and eco friendly soaps provided. the beds were comfortable, the view is awesome, and there is nothing like going to sleep listening to the ocean. I look forward to staying in your beautiful Hale again in the near future.

Everything was as advertised we had ever thing we needed. Only compaint was the downstair bed sheets where not clean, no big deal since we had a washer. The bedroom doors did not open as they where getting repaired. Over all we where very happy and it's a great location close to the ocean.

We loved the wrap around porch! It’s all screened in so we could leave the doors open all night and hear the ocean.

The unit is spacious, beautifully furnished, and the kitchen is well equipped. There are several beaches within easy walking distance so there are options every day. The evening sunsets are fabulous. We used the large large screened porch eery day. We look forward to returning for a quiet, laid-back, and restful vacation.
