Actually our stay was okay. The app mistakenly defaulted to 5 stars. The condo was nice and beds comfortable. There is not a view of the beach as the overgrown palms in front blocked the view. We used every method we could think of including contacting the call center and never got the pool code so couldn’t use the pool. Very disappointing. What wasn’t clear from the description is that the condo complex is decently maintained but adjacent to a former resort and golf course that has been abandoned. The path to the beach is through this area and while interesting if you enjoy looking at abandoned buildings, is also creepy. The beach and sunsets are beautiful but there are no lounge chairs or life guards so swimming looks risky.
We stayed there about a year ago and had a great time but this time was very different. The condo is nice but the lack of service/help from Vacasa, and not being able to use the amenities spoiled the trip for us. We hope this can be rectified because we would like to try to stay there again but have to be assured these issues are resolved and that there will be better service, communication, and help during a stay.
The condo was clean and beautifully decorated. You could tell that the owners tried to anticipate your every need. Loved the tiki bar lanai. Beds were comfortable. Ceiling fans throughout. Even the dishes were Hawaiian theme. I already started recommending this unit to my friends and I will definitely stay here my next trip.
Loved the area, beautiful beaches, great hikes amazing wildlife – monk seals and massive sea turtles. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed. Good proximity to the pool and the Pickleball/tennis courts.
