The good: This unit is beachfront, with no obstructions between you and the beach view. This unit was spacious. Parking is reasonable at $10.95 per day. The pools and hot tubs were nice. The hotel's public areas were nicely maintained. It is about three hotels away from the beachwalk and easy to get on the walk down to Black Rock. A grocery store is across the street as well. The bad: This unit has been well-loved and is showing its age (i.e. broken cabinet doors, latches etc.) These did not have a big impact on our stay. The unit was clean, but in my opinion, the kitchen could use a good scrub down of the cupboards and hardware. The kitchen could use more dishes, such as serving bowls and plates/bowls, to offset the 30 cups and glasses. We had to run the dishwasher after every meal in order to have serving plates for the next meal. The beach area was nice to look at, but not suitable to set up a chair, as it was not wide. Walking 10 minutes down the beach was necessary to set up chairs. As long as you are aware of the above glitches and can adapt, then I would recommend staying here.

The view is amazing and really looked the location. The unit has a washer and dryer and beach chairs which we used everyday going to different beaches to snorkel.

The condo was nice and great for my family of four. I liked that my kiddos could each have their own twin bed in the kids room. Condo was stocked with a free bag of coffee, coffee filters, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent & drier sheets and plenty of towels. The beach right outside is great with a tree for shade and good snorkeling too - we saw a giant sea turtle and lots of fish! Not the best location if you want walking distance to the restaurants at whalers village (we drove over there every night for dinner and parked in the parking garage and the restaurants validate for 2 hours). Some VRBO’s let you cancel for money back if needed but the rules for this ones is no money back within 60 days of your trip. We had an issue come up and couldn’t reschedule so I wish that I would have booked through a travel agent instead of directly through VRBO.
