Our Hawaiian paradise can be yours when you stay in our beautiful 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom, 2100 square foot Big Island home located in KaMilo, a private gated community surrounded by the Mauna Lani North Golf Course. Entering, you will find an impressive cathedral ceilinged great room with a relaxing entertainment and dining area. Retractable sliding glass doors open to one of the three main floor lanais, allowing the indoor and outdoor spaces to flow together as you enjoy the comfort of the tropically appointed living area.
The fully equipped gourmet kitchen has Thermadore stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and African mahogany cabinets. If you enjoy outdoor cooking, the lanai is perfectly equipped with a gas BBQ and table with seats for eight.
This home will comfortably accommodate up to 10 and provides anything you may need for your dream vacation. For those concerned with stairs, the home provides easy one-level access to the entire ground floor, which houses three of the four bedrooms, including one master. Both master bedrooms have California king beds, ensuite bathrooms, and walk-in closets. The second floor master provides privacy and a stunning sunrise view over Mauna Kea from the private lanai. A third bedroom has one queen bed while the fourth bedroom has two queen beds (not doubles!). All bedrooms have ceiling fans as well as 32' or larger HDTVs with Blue Ray/DVD players and digital cable. The great room has a 55' 1080p LED HDTV equipped with a Blue Ray/DVD player, HD cable box and surround sound stereo system (5.1 Dolby), sure to entertain the entire family.
One of the best-kept secrets of the Mauna Lani Resort, the KaMilo/Kulalani Recreation Center, is the largest in Mauna Lani and only a short walk from your home. It boasts a lap pool, a free-form resort style pool, a kiddy wading pool, two hot tub spas, a workout room with free-weights and exercise machines, expansive lawns, and a gathering pavilion with a Viking grill and outdoor kitchen for hosting parties or other special events.
For those that live for the beach, the Mauna Lani Owner's Beach Club is only a short drive down the road. While there, you can enjoy all the amenities that the club has to offer, including swimming, snorkeling, stand-up paddling, and much, much more! A full-service restaurant with an outstanding food and tropical beverage menu is located mere steps from the beach.
For golfers, Mauna Lani boasts two championship golf courses among the finest on the island.
The Fairmont Orchid Resort, Mauna Lani Bay Hotel and The Shops at Mauna Lani are located within the resort and only a short walk from KaMilo. The Kamilo properties are especially fantastic for families - the pool beach access are phenomenal, and the property is situated close to a lot of helpful amenities (Foodlands grocery store, and more). We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Wonderful property, everyone had their own space. Well stocked, everything you need for your stay on the Big Island.
The house and its amenities were perfect for the 9 of us! We were good about not wearing shoes in the house but the floor seemed especially grimy. Everyone was happy with the mattresses and proximity to the pool!
We loved our stay at this home. Pool complex and beach area are top notch. We would definitely stay here again!
Everything was great, Jim was easy to work with. 8 of us stayed comfortably. Kitchen surprising was fully stocked! Quite Neighborhood. Only complaint is we had to go home. Definitely would recommend and hopefully we can rent again.
The house was great for 2 families, with 10 people total. Loved all the beach gear in the garage. Only 1 good boogie board but we bought 2 decent ones and left them there. Loved being close to hapuna beach. Enjoyed a couple take out dinners in the pool area. Only small complaint was the WiFi didn’t always work (we reset the router and then it worked fine)..
We had a very nice stay at this home. It was well equipped for our large family with plenty of sleeping spaces. We enjoyed the close proximity to the Fairmont where we were attending a conference. The neighborhood is nice with friendly people and a relaxed vibe. Young kids seemed to be welcomed, including at the very nice pool area. Houses really are quite close together, which was a little surprise, but the lush vegetation helped create somewhat more of a private feel. The access to the gated beach was a plus. Although a couple miles away, it was a nice change of scenery. The beach accessories provided in the garage were more than adequate and appreciated.While perfectly adequate for our stay, the house did have some signs of use. This wasn't unexpected and didn't affect our enjoyment there. There were some carpet stains and some of the furniture, both inside and outside, definitely showed heavy wear. All in all, not a deal breaker and wouldn't affect out decision to stay here again.
Wonderful communication and accommodations! A great place for our family of eight to celebrate our 40 years of marriage.
We had no hot water for seven of the 10 days we were there. The property manager did get a plumber to come out. But he did not fix the problem, and in fact, made it worse. We reached out again to both the owners and property manager and were continually gaslighted as we were leaving the next day. We were told by both the property management and suggested by the owner that it was in fact, our “preference” to have hotter water and we should take shorter showers. This property is advertised as being hospitable for 10 people, how is it possible to house 10 people with no hot water? We did not overuse the hot water, nor did we take long showers. The property manager did not notify us when the plumber was coming, as they communicated they would, otherwise, we would have been there to ensure the problem was fixed. We have extensive experience in plumbing ourselves. In addition we were told the property had a resort style pool and spa to use during our stay. We were told the day we arrived both the pool and spa were undergoing major repairs and they would not be available for a month. We talked to another owner and were told they knew this was scheduled for several months. We were not notified of this or given any notice so we might choose another property. Aside from these issues, this property would have been a dream. Sorry this happened and put a damper on this once in a lifetime trip for your family. any opportunity to choose another rental.
We loved this location as we stayed in this same area before. We enjoyed the beach equipment and toys. That was a really great touch. The pictures are old and need updating in regards to the view from the lanai as the greenery and houses have blocked the view, and some furniture has changed. Also, some of the furniture was falling apart and there were large stains on the carpet. When this was brought to their attention we received no response back. The place will be all five stars with just a bit of upkeep.
We enjoyed staying in this beautiful home. It was the perfect place to stay while exploring the island! I loved the beach access at Mauna Lani!
This large house, in well-maintained, quiet, gated community, was perfect for our family of 8 (6 adults, 2 children 9 &11) and easily walkable to the community centre where we made full use of pools, hot tub & gym equipment. Other amenities including small shopping mall with small grocery store, beaches and parks were short car drive away. It was tight but laneway was large enough for our 2 large vehicles (street parking not permitted). Kitchen was well equipped and extra chairs allowed all of us to eat around the dining table. Minor inconvenience was concierge service knew but did not tell us that bathroom fan was not functioning until we brought it to their attention.
A very quiet location.
Beautiful spacious house. Everything we needed in the kitchen and a grill. Loved the location, easy walk to some stores, resorts and beaches. Lots of pool and ocean toys.
We had a wonderful, fun trip. This house is set up perfectly for a family with children.
