Perched above the golf course with panoramic ocean and mountain views, this 3,700 square foot retreat offers an expansive lanai, private infinity-edge pool, spa, and seamless indoor-outdoor living with a chef's kitchen and Viking BBQ. Three king suites and a flexible bonus room provide space for up to 10 guests, while amenities like SONOS sound, NFL Sunday Ticket, and concierge service elevate every stay. Guests enjoy beach gear, a golf cart, and full access to Mauna Lani's Beach Club and Sports & Fitness Center.

Located in the Mauna Lani Resort’s exclusive gated community of Champion Ridge and perched above the Francis H Brown Mauna Lani North Golf Course’s 16th fairway, Hale Kalea has been recently renovated and boasts 4 spacious bedrooms and a bonus room spread out over 3700 square feet of living space. Offering maximum privacy, this home sits on a ½ acre lot and is an entertainer’s dream. With the lanai facing north, you are assured the pool will enjoy sun all day as the sun passes overhead from east to west. There is plenty of room to enjoy the Hawaiian sun on the immense lanai while the covered area offers shade. When not enjoying this amazing property, Hale Kalea also includes access to the private Mauna Lani Beach Club as well as the Mauna Lani Sports and Fitness Club, which offers a 50 meter lap pool, tennis and pickleball courts, and a state of the art fitness center with weights and cardio equipment. Both of these are just a few minutes away in the included brand new golf cart! Restaurants at the Mauna Lani Auberge Hotel, Fairmont Orchid, Mauna Lani Beach Club, and Mauna Lani shopping center are all a quick walk or golf cart ride away. There is also a grocery store, coffee shop, and juice shop at the nearby shopping center.
Entering the covered courtyard, you are greeted by the sound of a waterfall as you cross over a stunning floating walkway surrounded by water and lush tropical landscaping. Once you reach the floor to ceiling glass front door, you are welcomed into the home’s main living area with 180 degree views of Maui’s Haleakala, the ocean, and the Kohala mountain range. With an open floor plan, Hale Kalea is an entertainer’s dream! To maximize the indoor / outdoor lifestyle, the living room, dining area, and kitchen all open up to the lanai through the panel of windows that slide open and disappear into the wall. The chef’s kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need for the perfect dinner party and is equipped with high end appliances from Sub Zero, Dacor, etc. Or if you prefer to cook outside, you can use the built-in Viking grill. Either way, you and your guests will love dining indoors at the stunning live-edge dining table or at the outdoor table overlooking the hot tub and infinity edge pool. To complete the ambiance, there are built in fire pot and waterfall features that turn on with the push of a button.
The home also offers a 75-inch smart TV in the living room and SONOS speakers throughout the home. If you are traveling during football season, we have also subscribed to the NFL Sunday Ticket Package so you won’t miss any of your favorite team’s games!
When you are ready to retire for the night, Hale Kalea boasts 3 large en-suite bedrooms each with a king bed, TVs, large walk-in closets and dual sinks. The expansive primary bedroom is in the main house and faces west for amazing sunset views. The spa quality bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower for 2 with dual rain shower heads and a separate soaking tub. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are in a detached guest house/ Ohana unit. Each has a separate entrance opening to the lanai and pool area. Bedroom 4 is in the main house and looks out over the tranquil water in the courtyard. There are 2 twin beds and a king sized bed. The bonus room serves as your office while away and has a large desk and a queen sized sleeper sofa. The high-speed internet at Hale Kalea can support your whole family working remote and video conferencing simultaneously. Completing the home is a powder room in the main house as well as a laundry room.
With a number of world class beaches within a few minutes drive or a golf cart ride away, you will find everything to enjoy a day at the beach is already included. We have beach chairs, umbrellas, a cooler and even boogie boards for your enjoyment.
Our team is committed to ensuring you have the best possible stay so included with each stay is access to our trip planning and concierge teams. Prior to arrival, guests can work with our planners to ensure they have restaurant reservations secured as well as activities planned for the whole family. Once on island, guests will be greeted at check in by our concierge team, whom they can contact throughout their stay with any questions or requests. Our team can also make sure the kitchen is stocked at arrival so guests can hit the ground running and not waste valuable vacation time going to the market. No request is too small for our team.

Nine of us (six adults, three tweens and teens) stayed here and had a fantastic time. The house is well laid out, with three spacious private bedrooms, an overflow kids room, and an office, with dramatic sliding plate glass doors that completely open the living/dining/kitchen areas to the patio (with sun deck, pool, and hot tub). Mauna Lani Club beach is terrific, as is the rest of the resort complex. Thanks for a terrific house! With a terrific concierge!

From start to finish, this was a great choice for our stay on the big island. The home was comfortable and inviting with plenty of space for us and our adult children. Location is central - close to everything you may want or need. The concierge service was an added bonus, taking care of many of the details prior to our arrival on the island. We would highly recommend!
The house itself is amazing! More spacious that we expected from the listing pictures. Includes all the kitchen basics which was very helpful! Golf cart was a fun way to get to the private beach or to the nearby stores. Pool and outdoor areas were perfect for relaxing in the shade or sun- something for everyone. View was stunning. Loved waking up to sun rises and watching the sun set daily. We will be back!
