This townhouse sleeps 10 but offers plenty of privacy with the second master bedroom located on the main floor with its own en suite. Downstairs there are 3 bedrooms all with private lanai space.

The Neighborhood:
KaMilo is a walkable upscale community of larger units. The two-acre amenities center has a family pool, a lap pool, two hot tubs, gym - and on the other side of the neighborhood there is a putting green.
Stay in this luxury townhouse includes a Club Card that gives access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club. The Beach Club beach bay is protected and has cabanas and recliners available on a first come basis. Napua, an upscale restaurant and bar located right by the sandy beach.
The beautiful beach at the Fairmont Orchid Hotel beach is less than a mile away. There is also a trail that leads over to Puako.
Getting Around:
The Big Island has much to see and do and it is highly advised that guests rent a car to take advantage of the many things this island has to offer. Hawaii Island does not have abundant public transportation, so renting a car is best. However, if you do not drive you may consider hiring a charter tour, driver, or Uber.
Other Things to Note:
The driveway is extremely short, and we have a golf cart to boot. The association requires the golf cart to be parked inside the garage and therefore we are left with room to park one regular-sized SUV or Van (a Suburban will not quite fit at 226 plus inches, a standard 7-passenger van of 200-210 inches will fit) inside the garage and one compact car (up to a Hyundai Tucson size @ 176.2 inches - 14.7 ft - is the maximum) outside the garage (the bumper cannot overhang into the road). The compact car must also be parked straight in (exactly perpendicular to the street) and not at an angle. There are 2 guest spaces nearby and at the pool; however, these spaces are for day parking only, and you may not park there overnight. We understand this is inconvenient given the size of the home, but these are association rules that we must abide by.

Krish was absolutely fantastic and communicated as needed, and on a very timely basis. Home was immaculate with everything that we could need. We had 10 people in our family staying there. The layout was perfect for gathering together and also for having separate time. The items provided in the kitchen allowed us to cook some meals, and we even made good use of the grill. Absolutely wonderful stay in a beautiful home in a beautiful location. The golf cart was also very handy for going to the beach and nearby areas.
We stayed at Ka Milo 119 for 10 days with our family. The home was well equipped for a family and was great as well for our toddler grandchild. It was very clean, with plenty of bedding and towels not just for the bathrooms but for pool/beach as well. The garage had bikes, paddleboards, beach chairs/umbrellas, snorkel gear and sand toys and much more. The kitchen was stocked with seasoning and all the necessary cookware for family meals. Even though this is a duplex, the sound is so quiet. No noise from the neighbors at all. Check in/out was a breeze. Only a few minor improvement suggestions...the back lanai is big and comfortable but but the west sun in evenings makes it very hot. A shade would be fantastic to better enjoy the evenings. The baby gate was not latchable and needs to be replaced. More cleaning supplies like glass cleaner, lysol multipurpose and a few dish rags would help for clean up. The short driveway is a tad inconvenient but the rental Jeep Compass we had fit fine and also allowed for our larger Jeep Cherokee to be parked in the garage with the golfcart. We would definitely stay here again! Krish was so responsive and helpful. 5 stars for sure!!! :)
We had a large group of family stay in this beautifully appointed home. We had 2 children and 8 enough space for everyone to spread out. The kitchen is spacious and the bidets and golf cart were lovely touches!
This property is beautiful and comfortable. Property management went above and beyond in making everything perfect for the stay. We didn't have any issues during the stay, but they were very responsive to questions. Accommodations worked perfectly for the 7 family members we had traveling.

This was hands down our favorite property on any of the islands we stayed on. We had 2 grandparents and they were able to easily access the first floor bedroom. We had an 18 month and a 4 year old with their own room. They also had a baby gate and pack n play available. 3 other adults with ample space for everyone. Lots of kitchen essentials, the grill worked perfectly and the house was stunning. They had a ton of beach gear and toys and the golf cart to putter around on was fun for everyone. Burt was by far the most attentive and responsive host during any of our stays. Will be here again. of
This home was laid out very well for a bigger family/extended family. There are two Master suits, two other bedrooms, one with two queens,One with one queen, extra bathrooms in the halls. Very large living and dining and deck areas. Amazing garbage and extended golf Cart, beach, body surfing, and snorkeling gear - lots of it!!! Access to excellent beaches ans restaurants and golf! Fabulous!
Overall, we had a lovely time at this home. It is very convenient with a beach club that has great snorkeling just a short drive away and the pool/gym are within walking distance. All of the rooms are nice and the living room has a large couch which makes it easy for a large gorup to spend time together. The property manager was very easy to communicate with and responsive to any issues that arose. He was also very flexible with our check in time as our flight arrived pretty early in the day, which was very appreciated. However, there were a few little things that made the stay a bit less than perfect. 1. There were only 9 dinner plates in the cupboard, and for a house that accomodates 10 people, it made meals difficult. we were constantly having to wash dishes or use the tiny desert plates. 2. Similar situation with towels. There were only 10 bath towels and 8 beach towels. It would have been nice to have more stocked. 3. The scissors in the kitchen don't work and there was no tin foil - those kinds of basic items are important when staying at a rental house. 4. The air conditioning in the downstairs smaller room was glitchy and it was often much warmer than the rest of the house. 5. Lastly, the sun shines intensely onto the patio and living room during the last half of the day. It would have been nice if they had some sort of roll down patio shade to block it a bit so it was more comfortable for us to use that space in the afternoon/early evening.
The house was everything we could have hoped for. The perfect size for a big family gathering. When we ran out of paper towels and trash bags we alerted the vacation rental team and they responded quickly and brought it to us the same day. You can’t go wrong staying at this location. Everything about it was first class. Thank you Burt and team for making our stay amazing.

Perfect place for a family vacation. House was amazing, lots of space pool area was nicely kept and the golf cart was such a great perk as my brother was staying in same complex at other end made for easy access. Having all the beach supplies and toys really helped enhance our trip. Would definitely rent this house again. Thanks for the memories.
Beautiful property with a fully retractable window connected to the lanai. Fully stocked kitchen. A variety of beach gear—everything 10 people needed to enjoy the beach without having to rent or buy equipment. Clean. Property manager was immediately available when we had questions.
We had a fantastic time at this home in Kamilo. It was super clean, well stocked, there was a kind gift when we arrived, and all of the amenities were more than enough to make our trip perfect. Super easy to communicate with the host, who was quickly responsive and accommodating. I highly recommend this home!
This home is perfect. Three generations of family members, 6 in total, stayed here and enjoyed every second of our time in this home nearly as much as the time we spent on the beach and exploring the island. The upstairs lanai was my personal favorite aspect, along with the striking cleanliness of the home. We will be back.

Our family of 7 including kids and grandkids just returned from our stay in this house at the Mauna Lani resort. It is well equipped, clean and very spacious. The manager Burt went out of his way to make sure we have everything we need. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing time on the Big Island.
