Breathtaking Luxurious Pacific Island Home

Location, location, location. Everything about this unit was incredible from the proximity to the pool, the ocean, and the mountains, it was perfect for our 3 generation family. The unit included everything we needed for our 2 week stay from beach and pool equipment to condiments and spices in the cabinet. The host’s communication was excellent and she worked with us as I changed the dates.

All had a great time from grandparents to my two year old! The house is well equipped with floaties, beach toys, boogie boards, noodles, etc. kitchen was well equipped too. Easy quick stroll to the community pool and 2 min drive to foodland and the Mauna Lani shops which has all you need from coffee in the mornings, to açaí bowls for a snack and grocery store to make dinner. The kitchen is has everything you could need by way of pits, pans, mixing bowls, plates, cutlery, measuring cups, etc. Tons of extra beach towels and bath towels. We used the pack and play for our two year old (we brought our own sheet although I didn’t check if the house had one). Huge washer and dryers to run laundry. Using the beach club card was easy, we got there at 8 and were one of the first in the parking lot. When we left at around 10 the parking lot was completely full. I would recommend bringing your own shampoo and conditioner. Small hotel sized bottles were provided, but if you like a good lather probably not enough depending on how long you are staying. All in all a 10/10 and hope to be back again!!

We’re very responsive to a drain that was clogged.The bed in upstairs bedroom has a significant dip . Mattress should be replaced.

Great home. Exactly as advertised. There was plenty of space for our group of 11. We didn’t feel crowded at all. The bedrooms were all very large, and the bathrooms were spacious and very clean. The kitchen was well appointed, and there was plenty of space for multiple people to make dinner each night. We made good use of the beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, and beach umbrellas in the garage. We would stay here again for future visits to the Big Island.

Everything went without a hitch. House is well equipped and in a beautiful area to see the Hawaiian sunsets. Had. Great time

Lovely, well-equipped, especially appreciated the sand toys for the kids and the beach chairs. Very nice lanai. Beds comfy, plenty of towels. No complaints. Everyone had a wonderful time. Great location near shops and restaurants. Mauna Lani beach is perfect for small children and the Foodland grocery store was so close and convenient-with good prices too. Would stay at this property again.

Excellent location. Check in process was very easy. House is very nice and comfortable. Things we suggest: 1. check the gas grill. Only the left side was working. 2. There's a small step in the balcony. We stayed for 3 nights and could never remember to step up/down. There were countless stubbed toes and hyper flexed knees. 3. Too many remotes. Also, check the batteries.

We came to the big island to get married and a big group of our family stayed at this house. We had everything we needed, and it was a great location. Great layout and big kitchen for cooking and entertaining a large group. Will definitely stay again!

This lovely home was very accommodating and met all our needs. The children enjoyed the array of beach toys. The kitchen had ample cookware and extra containers that came in handy for picnics on the beach. The family especially enjoyed gathering on the lanai each day. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay or owners to work with.

It was an absolute wonderful experience!! Gorgeous home, family friendly!! The perfect lanai with stunning sunrises and sunsets. Great community pool, a little of everything! Access to owners Beach did not disappoint with amazing snorkeling and on point piña coladas. We are too sad to leave. Aloha, Ohana and Mahalo from San Diego.

Was very enjoyable kids had a great time at the pool. Condo was clean. Bonnie was very helpful when key pad at the door wasn’t working.

Our girls and boys golf teams and coaches were at this property for 5 nights and they raved about the accomodations. The furnishings were exactly as seen in the photos and it had been immaculately cleaned. The location was ideal since the championship tournament was being held at the nearby Mauna Lani Golf Course. Mahalo, Bonnie, for providing our group with a memorable experience and for being available to answer all of our questions. A hui hou!

We wanted for nothing. Everything was as pictured and described. Beds were comfy. Very quiet. Large home with room for everyone. Very clean and close to nice beaches. Such a terrific home in a beautiful community. Would definitely recommend 10/10.

There were 12 of us in total from Canada and Australia, and we could not have asked for better accommodations. The place was beautiful and had so many amenities, especially for babies and young children. We all highly recommend this place for vacations.

Right from the start when opening the door we were so pleasantly surprised! The home was welcoming and larger than we expected! Everything was perfect! We will be back when we have a large group!!

What a wonderful home for our multi generational family. The kitchen was fully stocked for our cooking needs. The beds were so comfortable. It was so nice to have such great beach towels for the 12 of us. Just a great place!!!!

Spent 10 days in this amazing house with a group of 10 family members. Had a great time, perfect location in the Mauna Lani area. Kitchen well stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. Great outdoor space, we used the grill on the lanai several times. Would definitely stay here again.

This home exceeded the listing in almost every way. Plenty of room, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, beautifully appointed and of course the views. Quiet and well maintained development that was convenient to everything we wanted to do. Great swimming and exploring options on site, and some excellent beach parks a short drive away. Lastly, communication was excellent. We had two small items we contacted the owners about and they were addressed immediately. Would definitely come back.

We booked Bonnie’s home for a multi-generational family vacation, with my parents, siblings, and our respective children (from both Japan and the US) and couldn’t have asked for better accommodations. From the start, Bonnie was kind and communicative, and let us know when the home was available for an earlier check-in time. The house is spacious, beautifully appointed, immaculate in terms of cleanliness, and in a perfect location. We enjoyed relaxing on the lanai in the morning and evening, cooking big family dinners (the kitchen has everything you need), and we all slept well in the comfortable beds and bedrooms after days packed with play. We were a large group (12 in all), and the home has enough space such that we could enjoy our communal “together time” and also have privacy in the individual bedrooms as needed. Mauna Lani’s Beach Club was perfect for the little ones in our group, while the rest of us explored the many great beaches within short driving distances from the house. (The garage is well stocked with boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs, and umbrellas). Other highlights of our trip included a drive up to Mauna Kea for stargazing and watching an amazing sunset and moonrise, and snorkeling to see Manta Rays. All in all, this home proved to be an absolutely perfect home base. We plan to book again for future trips to the Big Island.

Beautiful home, very clean, and room for our multi- generation family (grandparents, 5 adult children and a 3 1/2 yr old) to spread out yet be together comfortably. Home was generously stocked with extra sheets and towels- including a wedge to turn the room with 2 Extra long twin beds into a King.) Very explicit directions for access to the property were provided. Great open floor plan, air conditioned, very comfortable beds with lanai area off each room. The sunset view from the lanai near the living/dining area was gorgeous. Beautiful community pool in this gated community, The Beach Club access card that was provided gave us access to a wonderful beach cove. The day we spent at The Beach Club, snorkeling off the life-guarded beach was THE BEST! We all really appreciated all the garage items that allowed us to enjoy the beach - umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards, coolers, and beach towels. We brought our own snorkel, mask and water/scuba booties and saw lots of beautiful tropical fish. Thanks for a great stay. Wish we could have stayed longer, and hope to be back again!

We encountered multiple inconveniences and deficiencies (leaking pipe flooding under sink, dirty kitchen appliances, coffee and grounds still in pot from prior tenant, broken couch on lanai, jammed unusable screen door to lanai, dirty grill with malfunctioning starters, window screens not fitted to windows which repeatedly pop off, broken table lamp). On one occasion a bird flew in after a screen popped off and after helping it out, we cleaned several poops off floor and on furniture. We did enjoy our week long family gathering and were good natured and accommodating with the host. Agreed to minimize use of leaking sink and repeatedly empty basin collecting the water. I sent a kind message upon departure to our host and suggested she remedy the various problems prior to next occupancy. We were totally dismayed at her charging the maximum “property damage deposit” stating “unclean” and “indoor furniture left outside” (we did leave one ottoman on the covered lanai used the morning of departure for seating since the sofa on the lanai was broken). She complained of sand left on the floor and sent a photo showing minimal sand on the floor of the entry (a beach house!) and sent a photo of a bird poop on a windowsill blaming us for it! We still await resolution and have not yet received our deposit back. VRBO folks reviewing this case are helpful and reassuring that we will get our deposit back but it is an arduous process and certainly soured our otherwise fun family vacation.

Breathtaking home right when you walk through the front door! The pictures do not do it justice. Spacious, comfortable and clean. Perfect for a large family to enjoy a Hawaiian holiday. We cannot wait to visit again!

We came to Hawaii with three generations of family. It's our third time in Kamilo. This home sets up well for us. Kamilo has good amenities and the pool/exercise facilities got good use. We'll be returning here again for a family vacation, when we return to Hawaii.

Our annual trip to mauna lani with kids, spouses and grand kids. It’s the high light of our year!

We loved our stay at this home. We had 8 adults and 2 kids and fit very comfortably. There is a lot of equipment in the kitchen to prepare a variety of group meals. The community pool and beach areas were fantastic for swimming and snorkeling. Lots of equipment for playing at the beach at the house, too. We would happily come back. This is our second time staying at this home. We love the location and the facilities. The home is clean and well taken care of, has plenty of space for kids and is relaxing!

My spouse and I, our daughters, sons, sons-in-law, and grandchildren spent the week here in early January. It was fabulous! The house is beautiful and comfortable, as are the grounds, and facilities. Would definitely stay here again!
