This 3 bedroom home is fully furnished with a Primary Suite including a private spa inspired ensuite.
The opposite end of the home provides a 2nd primary suite with two twin beds (or combined as a King with King size mattress topper) with an ensuite.
The third bedroom has a queen bed and access to a garden lanai.
An optional twin rollaway can be provided for a 7th guest (suitable for a child)
The airy open concept main floor includes kitchen, dining area, great room, and large lanai with high end propane BBQ. The dining room table will comfortably accommodate 6 people or 4 can dine al fresco on the lanai outdoor table. The expansive kitchen countertop is perfect for 3 for casual dining.
The home is elegantly furnished with high end furniture from Restoration Hardware. The large unbelievably comfortable sectional in the great room are perfect for relaxing after a long day of fun in the sun! The great room is perfect for relaxing, playing games, listening to music on the sound-bar, watching the game, or relaxing with a movie.

We love building really big sand castles. Kohala sand is exceptional for this and we have the tools for kids and adults alike. For your day at the beach, you'll find

Things to do
Staying in KaMilo gives you full access to its Recreation Center with fitness equipment and multiple hot tubs and lap pool, free form pool and kiddie pool.
You can also take advantage of the clean private beach club staffed with lifeguards and the Napua Restaurant just two miles away. Excellent snorkeling in calm waters!
A short drive away are the six (6) of the most spectacular beaches in Hawaii including Beach 69, Hapuna beach and the breath-taking Mauna Kea beach.
The Kohala coast is a golfer's paradise with seven (7) challenging courses all within 7 miles of our villa. The home backs on to the 11th green of the Mauna Lani course.
Minutes down the street is the Shops at Mauna Lani where you can find super-market, coffee shops, restaurants, clothing and accessory stores, art, and galleries.

Great
This house was a great homebase for our family of 3 for a visit to the Big Island. The house is large enough to accommodate more people, easily could handle a family with three kids. Everything was nice: fans in every room; three bedrooms; two-and-a-half baths. Kitchen is nice and opens into the living room which opens onto a large, comfortable lanai with a gas grill. Location is great. Half-mile from the local grocery store and a two-mile drive to the Waikoloa markets (Queen's and King's). Access to the beach club is the real prize: beautiful beach with no waves, clear water, great for swimming and relaxing. Other cool aspect was the digital guide the owners sent us in advance, which could be accessed as an app on our phones and had all relevant info about the house and area. Would definitely recommend.
Enjoyed the house and accommodations in the complex. Two pools and fitness facility were lovely.
We had a fabulous time and the host made it wonderful, from before we even arrived on the island, we knew what to expect, and how to get to the property, the amenities were amazing, and we were sad to leave. We look forward to booking a return trip for our next vacation on the big island.
We’ve stayed in this complex before but not in this unit. Management was very accommodating and easy to work with. The home is very comfortable and well equipped. Access to the beach park with restaurant is a huge perk. We’d absolutely stay here again.
Excellent place to stay with families . Close to everything we wanted to do.
Place is very nice. Location is great. Came for Ironman race and stayed for family vacation. Beach Club is very nice perk. Snorkeling was excellent. Beds were small for teenage boys.
This is a lovely rental home in a good location, perfect for families. Everything as advertised and I definitely recommend! I will say that for such a lovely place, the kitchen could be better outfitted, especially for people who plan to cook and eat meals in the rental (restaurants are expensive in HI!). A few suggestions to the rental owners: a salad spinner would be great, as well as some proper rubber spatulas for mixing. Also, the microwave door doesn't shut properly and at one point, my coffee cup was stuck in there when it wouldn't open. I think that could use an update.
Lovely open floor plan, beautifully furnished. Nice outside area with great views of the golf course. Wonderful beach with lounges, and a restaurant. Loved our time!!
My wife and I stayed here for 12 days, along with our twin daughters. I thought the actual unit was far better than what the pictures showed on HomeAway. There was plenty of room for all four of us and we made good use of the outdoor space when eating. The extras in the garage were a bonus. Although we never used the bikes, we did make good use of the boogie boards, and it was nice to have a separate space where we could place our wet vests and towels to dry without bringing into the house. We thought the unit was fairly clean, but could use a total once over, and the sisal rugs have seen better days. These rugs shed and created a mess throughout the wood floors, which we found ourselves sweeping up from time to time. The pool area was nice, but not well kept. I'm sure the owners pay some sort of maintenance fee, but I wonder what they are getting in return. We spent each time upon arrival, selecting pool chaises that had the least amount of bird crap. If you are used to having kids that play with pool toys (inflatables), while on vacation, this is not the place. Our kids don't play with those; however, some families had them and took it to a new level. At one time, I counted 13 inflatables in the pool area, including a large flamingo and turtle. There is plenty of room in the pool for them, but management and security were advising renters to check their contracts and remove them; they were not allowed. If the families read the pool rules to begin with, it's rule #1 anyway; no need to search in the contract. I saw quite a few families collect their belongings and leave; it was strange. This unit is within close proximity to restaurants and shopping, which was a plus. While using the barbeque in this unit, the handle bar came right off in my hand. I managed to recover the screw in the burners, and hand tightened the bar back. I later texted and e-mailed the owners about it, including a pic, so that it could be fixed before the next guests. I never heard a response from them. I received my refundable deposit only after e-mails and a voicemail message. The lateness (two weeks) was attributed to a new book keeper. It was good to be notified by the HomeAway check out notification app that any unopened food would be donated to the Food Bank, per the owners (Awesome!) I would not likely rent at Ka Milo again, but not directly related to my experience renting this unit
